However, the past 2 years, come renewal, I wouldn't hear from them at all. Policy documents would show up randomly in my mailbox without notification from StreetSmart. This year, after I got policy renewal documents for both auto and home, one of their managers reached out to "chat with me" about my renewal "ahead of time", showing they had no idea that my policies renewed. I shared feedback with them last year that I felt it was unacceptable to be making commission on my policies every year without offering any service, like shopping rates with me every year or even reaching out to ensure my policy met my future needs since life can change quickly. They did not take this feedback, clearly. I tried to setup time to talk to my account manager to discuss renewal three times. Every meeting, no one would call and when I reached out over email, was told it was rescheduled/cancelled, despite using the scheduling link she told me to use... Still feeling this is unacceptable, so I chose to stop partnering with them and shop around to a new agent who has better customer service.

When asking the tow truck driver how much he thinks it would cost for an estimate, he said it to be around $150, maybe $200, plus labor. When I got to the car care, I was informed that it would cost an additional fee for diagnostics of $179 to ensure that they were replacing the right parts. It turns out the starter was the part that needed to be replaced, costing $714.00. While my car is in the shop, he comes out to me and tells me about OEM bypass pipe leaking. I ask him what the total price will be, and he prints and circles the price of $62.99 plus labor for the added part. I agree to fix the pipe. After waiting for 4 hours, I get a bill of $1414.02. This place never told me it required flushing cooling systems; I would have never agreed to the service. The employee at the front desk lied to me about the cost. Once confronted about his poor communication skills, he continued his lie. AAA is good for insurance, travel, and towing. NEVER NEVER NEVER USES THIS CAR SERVICE.
