Dr. Delauter was incredible today. Our dog has had endless struggles with anxiety at the vet and she spent so much time making sure our dog was as stressed free as possible. She took her time. This place is a money pit, they charge for everything and anything. If your dog has a full physical today and you go next month for a vaccine, they will charge you for a full visit plus the cost of vaccine; as a matter of fact every time you go in for a vaccine you have to pay an office visit. today went to pick up my dog's prevention meds: Bravecto and heart worm medication like always and they refused to give it stating the dr is busy and policy has changed that the dr needs a 24 hr notice or if I want it sooner I have to pay a $20 fee, well they never notified of this change and I drove 30 minutes for this pick up, but they wouldn't budge. So is your dr really busy or you just needed another excuse to make more money. I will never return again. They are all business and could care less about your pets. read more

Dr Miller has been taking care of our pets for over 10 years. We went to her before she started her own practice and followed her when she did. We have never had a bad experience here. This vet clinic will nickel and dime you every chance they get. I have 2 stories. The first story involves my mini labradoodle. She had an ear infection when she was a puppy. We took her in and the vet charged us to do a test to figure out if the infection was viral, bacterial, or fungal. We figured they did that to determine what medicine to use to treat it. That wasn't the case. They did the test and still treated her with a medicine that covered all 3 causes. The test was pointless and we had to pay for it. Then, we bought a new puppy recently. I called and told them that I needed to get the puppy in soon because I needed the proper vaccines to get him groomed (his fur was growing into his eyes). At the appointment, I once again explained the reason I was there was to receive the proper vaccines required to take my puppy to a groomer. She said that they would ensure this happened. She did an exam and he recovers his vaccines. I went home and made the appointment to get him groomed. They asked if he received his rabies shot. He did not receive that so I called liberty Pet Hospital. I explained to them that my whole reason for bringing him in was to get him groomed. The girl explained they do not give the rabies vaccine until there are at least 12 weeks old. My dog was seen when it was 11 weeks and a few days old. No one ever mentioned this to me before. I asked if I could come back in a few days when he turned 12 weeks to relieve the rabies vaccine. They said yes. I showed up for the vaccine and a different vet came in and started examining him and asking the same questions I had already answered days ago. Come to find out, I wasn't there to just get the vaccine and leave. They charged me for a whole other exam. If the y would have bee. Honest from the first time I called, they could have told me to wait a few more days until he was 12 weeks old. Instead, I spent two different times coming in and paying for 2 exams. I expressed my frustration hoping they would not charge for another exam but that was not the case. This company will text, email, and call you to co firm appointments. They also bother you after your appointment. I didn't hear a single peep after this appointment. I also told them I would not be back. A simple sorry and taking ownership for there dishonest way of squeezing money from me would have gone a long way. Do not trust them. They also try to get you pay for extra Benadryl shots before your dog gets vaccines. My children do not get those, why would I pay to have my dog get them. read more

We love Liberty! We followed Dr Miller when she opened her own practice since she had given our Chow-German Shepherd mix such excellent care previously. We loved that she added packages to allow us to keep a handle on costs for our senior girl. We recently became puppy parents and decided to also take our little one to Liberty. Again, so glad to have the packages available. Our little boy has had a lot of tummy issues and after a little trial and error, I think that we have found the best medication to treat him thanks to Dr Miller. I brought my cat here who was barely eating. She couldn't make it through her normal dish of food. This had been going on for weeks and she was getting so skinny; I was a nervous wreck. I took her to Liberty Pet Hospital for an exam and the Vet did NOT examine her. She talked to me about buying into an expensive package for Senior cats. I had to ASK the vet tech to check for fleas because the Vet would barely look at my cat or touch her. The whole thing was a sales pitch. The vet said my cat was just anxious. I knew this wasn't the case. I tried another vet 30 minutes away who had stellar reviews. When she peeled back my cat's lips and saw all the resorptive lesions, she winced. I did not know what resorptive lesions were or what to do but was carried through the whole process. This vet in grandview removed 3 teeth (expertly) and my cat is in better health than she's ever been. In fact, I've taken all my pets there and I'm thrilled. read more

I waited to write this review as I was devastated and too upset with Dr. Miller to write a civil response. Simply....she misdiagnosed my dog and he suffered unnecessarily. My dog had vet visits at Liberty Pet Hospital for regular pet exams, teeth cleaning etc. and mentioned to her as far back as May that he seemed to be limping. She didn't find anything. However, on this occasion I noticed he was limping more often and took him in immediately for another exam of his leg. She asked a few questions then took some blood and said she wanted to see the results in a day or so and to compare with his last round. His blood indicated regenerative anemia, he lost 6 pounds as well. She suggested an ultra sound to see if there is something in his abdomen. More phone calls; she wanted to a add a Lyme's disease test because of the limp. I told her to go ahead with the tests and I would make a decision on an ultra sound after the Lyme test result. The limp got worse and he started dragging his foot and I requested to bring him back in for her to check it again. It was late and she was booked and going out of town for 3 days; an appointment was made on her return. (I was up with him all night.) The next day I took him to Ohio State Vet Emergency. They asked a few questions and they did what I thought should have been done the whole time.....one simple test.....an x-ray. They immediately took an x-ray. Sadly the x-ray found a cancerous tumor. He died. My heart was broken. My sweet dear Bailey should never had suffered as he did; I blame Dr.Miller for not taking a simple x-ray right from the beginning. I could never trust her again and I certainly would never recommend her or Liberty Pet Hospital. read more

This vet clinic should have its doors closed for manipulating their clients - specifically the manipulation of costs for care. I am laying out my story below- please do not schedule with this vet clinic. They are blindly robbing you for being good parents to your pets: I have a new kitten, she was 3 months when we brought her home and inquired about declawing. On the intake call they asked how old my kitten was and how much she weighed 3 months, 3.1 pounds. We arrive at the apt and the doctor calls me to review the consult and tells me they don't do declawing on cats under 4 months/4 pounds. But they still scheduled me and charged me $100 for the visit and medicine for a stuffy nose that was handed to me with no instruction. They said I should come back next week to check her stuffy nose. As I good parent I did so, however during the week the medicine made her sick. I discovered on the bottle it should have been refrigerated. During the follow up she tried to have me pay for $50 of more medicine, after the vet declined to give instruction on the first one resulting in the need for a second medication. Also, she said we should do a stool sample, another $60 and maybe blood work, $200. But why? No reason was given. After another $150 for a second visit, remind you the reason for my visit at all was to look into declawing (don't judge me) and here I am almost $300 later for nothing? I asked for my cat to be brought out to me immediately and asked to speak with the manager. They practice manager apparently was flying and had to call me back. All week - no call. So then they call and say we can schedule ash's declawing - $200 for bloodwork, $300 for declawing, etc. I was blown away, I have another cat whom was declawed for $200 back in 2016. I was appalled, called a few vet clinics to compare pricing and 3 quotes were no more than $250 TOTAL! I called back and said my cat will no longer be a patient of a practice that is financially manipulating their clients. I again asked to speak with the practice manager, they said she would call back...3 weeks later guys and no call. I have a good job and financially can afford this but I remember when I was younger and got my first cat and if I went to this vet I wouldn't have been able to put food on my table due to the vet Bill. Their prices are 4x any other vet - they get people by having availability. I ended up here bc other vets were booked out 2 months for declawing so I would have never known. I don't want to see this happening to good people just trying to take care of their pets. It's not right, and I still have not heard from the practice manager....because they know what they're doing is wrong, unlawful and down right immoral. Do not take your pets here!! read more

We discovered Liberty Pet Hospital after we adopted our dog from the humane society of Delaware county. They were amazing from day one. Treated both of our dogs like they were their own. We have been in there for everything from an ACL issue to a swollen foot, and unfortunately worms. They always gave us great recommendations our pets returned to happy and healthy quickly. They answer emails and questions willingly and you can tell they just want what's best for our dogs. We will miss them dearly when we move! read more

Dr. Miller has been wonderful. We used to go to a vet hospital in the area but when they did not pay attention to our dog's injuries, we changed to Liberty. She immediately found the injury and we were able to get him the care he needed through Liberty and Med vet for surgery. Dr. Miller IS AWESOME! I have been taking care of a feral cat and taming him, but he still only trusts me fully, and runs from other people entirely. I had previously gotten him neutered and up to date on shots, but this past weekend he had a paw injury and his leg began to swell. I called a trusted veterinarian friend of mine (Dr. Kris Humschild) and since she wasn't going to be available to see him quickly, she highly recommended me going to see Dr. Miller. She couldn't say enough good things about her and raved about how good of a vet she is, as well as how excellent her judgment and ethics are. Sure enough, Dr. Miller was able to get me in first thing Monday morning, and was sweet enough to come walk me through the treatment plan protocol, answer any questions I had, and gave Thomas his space. I was SHOCKED when he approached her and began rubbing up on her leg. He never does that with any one but myself, and is still a "wild" cat, not trusting anyone. She had an instant way with him and he bonded quickly to her, letting her inspect his paw and even purred as she pet him. I had appointments all day so they worked with me, allowed me to drop him off, and did everything they said they would. They had a flexible pick up time and when Dr. Miller brought out Thomas, his paw swelling had already started to go down. He seemed happy to be going home but wasn't hissing or upset at all....just meowing and purring the entire way home. I couldn't be more grateful for such a professional and impressive first visit! For everything we had done, the cost was MORE than reasonable and Dr. Miller earned my trust right off the bat! Whenever my primary vet isn't available, I'll be visiting Dr. Miller and staff, who made this entire experience so easy! They turned a stressful and worrisome concern into an easy-breezy and positive experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! read more
