I have been waiting for a propane order since 3/3/26. We are now over 3 weeks. I have called and get no answers. I am told someone will text or call me, yet 3 days later, I still have not received a call or a text or a delivery. I am contacting corporate and started a search for a new company. This is not what their salesman told me would happen. Reading other reviews, it sounds like I am not alone. This is terrible business practice and I would not recommend them. They do not have their customer's best interest. read more

This company is a disgrace. This whole winter season they've been unreliable with delivering Propane. Many days they do not even answer their phone all day and do not answer voicemails. I had to wait a week back in January for delivery and that was only after causing a fuss and talking to a manager. When I called when my tanks were on 35% in February, they totally ignored me and after weeks, so they couldn't even guarantee it would be delivered for another week. They are disgrace. They are only taking care of their business accounts. They did not care when I told them I was discontinuing their business. And now their tanks have been sitting on my property for over a week and no one will come and pick them up. I would not recommend them at all. read more

Called and placed an order for propane 3-4 weeks ago. Assumed like always that they would come fill my propane. Was out of the country when I learned my house was barreling towards freezing up because we were out of propane. Despite 8-10 calls, never got one reply, and never received propane. Still no propane and not even sure they are still in business? 10 years or more of business with them and this is how it ends? No idea what is happening at this company?? read more

This company SUCKS! Ordered a refill on 1/13/26 and have been getting a nonsense answer from the female NITWIT answering the phone. She has lied every week. These people, and I mean all of the staff should be in jail. I'm pulling the tank and leaving on the curbside. Contracting with Gastec, who have great reviews. if I could give this company negative stars it would be -100. i called them two weeks ago, before the storm, to refill my tank. I've called repeatedly to get an update. every time I call, they flat out lie to me and tell me I'll get delivered that day or the next. two weeks. If there was an option of zero stars, that is what I would leave! We called to have our propane filled up 18 days ago when the tanks had about 25% in them like the former company asked of us. We have called multiple times and are told they will let dispatch know and do their best to get out to us. 18 days!!!! I couldn't imagine not doing my job for 18 days and the customer being happy! I understand it is the busy time of the year, but how can it possibly take that long to fill up 2 tanks for a family of 6! Four children in the house that have to live with low 60 degree temps, supplemented by electric plug in heaters. Terrible service. We started with Green Propane, and since the merge everything just went downhill. Random price increases and charges appear on the invoice without any notice. Unable to provide any pricing structure on paper to reference to. Charge whatever they want. When called, they basically tell you to suck it up. read more

Back in January when the tempatures dropped significantly we ran out of propane ( we do have auto delivery), the house was 55 degrees and the gas smell was aweful. They did have someone come out in at timely manner and install a temporary tank. Then on February 2nd once again we woke up to the stench of gas and called Liberty call center service, we were told someone would get back to us, 2 hrs later nothing, another 2 hours nothing and on the 3rd call we asked if a tech would just c all us, NOTHING! Today I called to voice a complaint the operator appeared to not know how to handle disgrunted customers and continued to take everything personal, did not in any way try to take care of the situation, did not ask questions only continued to say I can only send to the higher ups which would have been fine if she was actually gathering information . I admit she frustrted me to the point of not being very nice and then hung up on me because after all it was all about her. I said I would be looking into other providers and she said FINE we will come and get your tanks! Did not try for a second to de-escalate the situation. I had fantastic service from Green Propane for many years. But ever since they merged with Liberty, I have had problems. The first issue was that I ran out of propane in December, which never happened with Green. I was set-up on auto delivery and always had enough until Liberty came on the scene. I chalked it up to transition kinks. But, I'm about to run out again, and I called them 7 days ago and requested a delivery and still haven't received it, despite a reminder call a few days ago. They have more customers than they can effectively manage and are unapologetic about it. I'll be looking for a new supplier. read more

I don't often write reviews but Robert from Liberty came to my home to help us identify an issue with my propane tank and ive truly never met such a pleasant and helpful individual. He was very communicative and transparent about his process and any potential costs and I felt like he really went above and beyond. I'd absolutely work with Liberty again. The office was also helpful in scheduling and the delivery driver was friendly and timely. Overall a really pleasant experience. read more

Ran off the road by one of their trucks. Time and date of incident: July 8 2022 at 9:20 am. Place of incident: getting on 309 N at Ambler. Was being tailgated and honked at while getting on entrance ramp of 309. Type of vehicle was some sort of pickup truck with a high, enclosed back portion of truck. Front windows were tinted. The person driving this truck has zero regard for human life and will kill someone the way they were driving. If this person has zero regard for life, why would you have them in your home or business? The person driving this truck should not be allowed in the road ways and must be off their medications. Absolute manic behavior by this person. Hey pal, the speed limit on 309 in 55 and 45 mpg. No need to be doing 80mph. I would never recommend this company when their associates act like lunatics on the roadway. read more

I'm a former Cress Gas customer who saw the light and bought my propane freedom with three new tanks from Liberty. I'm now in possession of tanks that I own and could go anywhere for propane, but I see no reason to even consider another vendor. This company is first-class from Judy in the front office to Steve in dispatch. Just great folks. While Cress took 7-10 days to fill my tank, Liberty came out once the same day I called and another time the day after. Prices are market rate and fair. Alex and Matt also deserve a shout-out for an outstanding tank install yesterday. There were leaks around a tee that goes to my generator and Matt took the time to take it apart and dope the pipes and reassemble. That's what I'm talking about. If you have been an indentured servent to Cress or another vendor, move your business to these guys--great company, great people. read more

I would never use liberty propane. Their drivers are extremely unsafe on the road. From going well over the speed limit to tailgate me on a residential street, to shining their high beams directly in my rearview while tailgating me, to going around me on a residential street and then brake checking me at a complete stop from the residential street speed limit which was 35 for the remainder of the street at 6:30 in the morning on my commute to work, all in icy and freezing weather conditions, this is an extremely unsafe way to drive a work truck on a residential street and a very unprofessional way to represent your company. read more

We own our tank and we've called them twice when there was a leak (one caused by fence company and one caused by pool company) and to fill the tank and they've always been extremely responsive and come out quickly. read more

Questionable Company! Working in the industry I can tell you that the rates that Liberty Propane are charging are 2-3 times the amount of what should be charged. When attempting to speak with Matt the owner it is clear that there is something going on. Somebody is getting paid! Looking back at billing for natural gas and propane over a 5-year period with other providers, we shared the detailed and verifiable information with Matt who in typical fashion just said oh well sounds like you are stuck and just laughed. No wonder people are leaving the state! read more
