I often wondered about residents who had no loved ones to watch out for them. I would not recommend this facility for anyone who does not have a local family member or friend to watch out for their care. There is a high turnover of staff and administration which reflects a facility in need of consistent leadership. While my parents were there, there were many nurses and aides who were amazing and who went above and beyond for my parents. However, due to administrative issues, some of those dedicated people left the facility. Please be cautioned that all is not as it appears to be at Kensington Place.

Then I see that if you take any controlled substances that you will be drug tested and you will pay for them! I am 48 years old and have been med compliant my whole life. I am prescribed one controlled substance. I've been on it for years and all it takes is one look at my prescription history to show that I've always been compliant on it with no issues. I don't appreciate being treated like a criminal because my brain doesn't work correctly. I don't do drugs, I don't drink. But when a clinic called Gentle Psych treats us like criminals it's just not cool. I just want to warn people, especially folks in Oregon.

If they are out of stock for a prescription, they order it and it's there the next day. My prescriptions are always filled in under an hour or so. Last night I got home from work and did not have enough time to get there but the pharmacist said I could have them delivered. I'm all the way by Franklin Park conservatory and was still in their delivery range! I could not believe it. They were able to deliver my prescriptions to me that very night! It really impacted my evening and the following day in such a positive way. Truly a wonderful pharmacy, and the people who work there are always very kind as well. 10/10
