My purpose for this review is to give Liberty Restoration (Powell) a low rating. Listed below are just a few headaches I had to suffer through to get a new roof. I have been trying to get my roof replaced through Liberty since October 2020. They gave a quote but repeatedly cancelled and no showed. Finally, in June 2021, I called and asked for my deposit back - I was planning on going with another company. They said they could not give back a deposit and the roofer would be out in 4 days. I signed a contract and paid a deposit on 3/29/21 for the agreed upon amount. There was a contract change order re: color signed 6/17/21. The contract change order states "no price change to contract". Four days later sub-contractors came out and did the work. I will bill that day for an amount that was 65% higher than SF's quote. Mr D***** said multiple time my roof would cost less than SF's quote I called to get an itemized invoice and question the discrepancy of the amount. Mr M***** was yelling in the phone and finally hung up on me. Now they will not answer my phone calls. They threated to turn me into collections (1 week after the roof was completed) and I have had to pay the bill to protect my credit. Mr M***** your itemized spreadsheet is out of date by at less ten years. Roofer don't use "W" metal in valleys. Mr M***** can you spell incompetent. Although I will continue fighting this with the company, BBB and the Attorney General. Finally the sub contractors left debris all over the yard and trampled my wife's flowers. See pictures below. Please be careful dealing with this company. They do sub-par work, charge more than the agreed upon signed invoices, and threaten to damage a person's credit. There are multiple reviews online saying the same thing. Unfortunately, we did not see those until after the fact. Ralph Baisden Fox Glen Disabled veteran

We've…read morelived in the home for 5 years and we're constantly finding things that need fixed because the work performed originally was all wrong. The front door has been on our list for a long time. I went to 4 different companies to quote the project. One company said they wouldn't do it because of the complexity. One said it would take 6 months to get a specialty door ordered and they wanted half the money up front. So basically paying thousands of dollars for a door I won't see for the better part of a year. Pass. The other company said they would need to rip the door off before they could give me a quote. Nightmare all around. Broadview was able to provide a reasonably priced quote and a 3 month lead time that ended up collapsing down to 2 months! I communicated with Ed for the sale and contract. My installation team was Randy, Bart, and Jamie. Absolutely stellar crew. Outstanding craftsmanship that exceeded my expectations. I did not think we'd get that door centered on the opening due to complexities of the HVAC and structure of the original door vs the new door. It looks marvelous like it was meant to be there, centered, correct size and color. One of the guys said they've been doing this for 42 years and this was the second hardest door he's done. And the only reason he could do it is because he worked in New England where all the homes were old. They also installed 3 layers of insulation because our door had none. Like I said, the list for this home never ends. Grateful for the team, their pristine attention to detail and their commitment to craftsmanship. We are thrilled with our new door!

I am also attaching pictures of the caulk job and the damage that was done below the window. Overall with this experience I would not recommend this company. I had ordered windows in September of 2021 and still have not had them installed as of 1/29/2022. The second week of December 2021, I had called to see where the windows were and how much longer it would be until install. It took 3-4 days in order to get an answer. The receptionist would constantly put me over to people who had no idea what was going on and would promise to give me a call back, which would never happen. The Week before Martin Luther King Dr. Day, I finally get a call from who I think is the owner who said that they have my windows, and they could install next day. Unfortunately I work in health care and it is almost impossible to get off at that short of notice, which is something I feel like this person could not grasp. We settled for Martin Lurther King Jr. Day because I was off work. Unfortunately I was scheduled for install in the morning and we had 4-6 inches of snow and according to the owner they had the truck which was stuck in Delaware. No big deal, these things happen and I would feel awful if someone got into a traffic accident or hurt, and said that he was very sorry and would try to reschedule on a Saturday, which was something they rarely do. He said he would call up a team and would call me back to confirm. Never did call me back pertaining to scheduling on a Saturday. I am now suppose to get them installed the second week of February, we will see if it actually happens this time. Overall I have been very underwhelmed with the communication of this company and at this point the amount of money paid is not worth the service, especially one that I have yet to receive almost half a year later

Despite the patio not being treated before winter, then when they did come out it was a terrible finish and another company corrected. The patio is not level in a couple areas and the custom stamp and cuts they made in the patio were not lifted up causing a bubble like look. Also, while completing the project, I called in numerous times to complain, I would have people come out at the end, but after several services calls and nothing accomplished, I finally stopped fighting and said I would leave a review. That's how much I do not trust them. Then they showed up at my neighbor's today and without permission used my driveway as a dumping ground for debris. They took the debris away but left a dirty filthy mess and lots of rusty nails for me to contend with. The guy I tried to talk to on the job site was belligerent and would not stop using my property when asked to do so. I probably had every right to call authorities. I will report them to the appropriate consumer watch dog agency. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

We want the professional installation and finished product for which we contracted and paid. Two additional windows are under contract and a deposit was paid, but because we made a warranty claim, Home Genius is now seeking to not measure, order or install those two contracted windows. The original installation was performed by a two-person crew. One installer brought a newborn infant and was simultaneously caring for the baby while working, including feeding and changing the baby in our home and keeping the baby in a carriage near the work area and ladder. The workmanship was extremely poor. Windows were not properly centered, caulking was started and abruptly stopped, windows would not properly open or close, and a screen was damaged. The problems were significant enough that Home Genius sent an entirely different crew per our demand several days later - they initially intended to send the same two. The second crew spent approximately twice as long correcting the first crew's work as the original crew spent installing the windows. Although some problems were corrected, we discovered that visibly scratched and painted old vinyl frame material remains incorporated into the finished appearance of our new ProVia windows. HGE's own contract promises professional workmanship and makes HGE responsible for proper completion even when subcontractors are used. Two additional contracted windows have not been measured, ordered or installed, although our deposit was paid. We do not believe making a legitimate warranty claim concerning defective workmanship permits Home Genius to abandon or cancel its obligations for the remaining windows. We have only asked that Home Genius to honor it, properly address the defective workmanship, and complete the two remaining windows as agreed - but this is a company that does not care and retaliates.

I honestly don't know why I chose to call CWS first, but I did, my call was taken by a wonderful lady whose name I cannot recall but she scheduled me immediately with Jeff. Well, I'll tell you, Jeff was excellent, he gave me honest assessments and helped me figure out what I needed, not what he could sell me. I had several requirements which he listed to and gave me honest, educated advice for all of them. Several weeks later my materials had been delivered, and we set up the date. The crew arrived on time and went straight to work after a brief conversation; I believe the crew chief was Daniel. The crew did an excellent job and listened to all my concerns, I had zero issues with them, they were great and did excellent work. In closing I will say, for the siding work I had done, and I've had siding done twice before, these guys were the best by a mile. All I can say in closing is, make sure you keep these people around, they make your business look really good.

We lost 15% of the window, making the unique layout of the home dim and unwelcoming. The sales pitch was slick and incomplete (and unnecessary since we knew we needed to change out the 45 year old windows), failing to underscore that our big beautiful windows would be permanently gone, changed irrevocably. All that sales pitch, two hours long, and never a mention that they were only making INSERTS! Wow. We had replaced windows in a 19th century home with a cheaper company 20 years ago and they had delivered what we asked -- custom replacement windows, not some weird ugly inserts. Extremely disappointed. We have 5 more beautiful windows that need replacing but we will not go with Renewal by Andersen. The photo shows one of the smaller windows side by side (sorry it's so dark), showing the smaller glass. There are windows that are up to 94 inches wide, I just don't have any side by side except for this one. Also showing the smallest window -- the master bedroom suite only has two windows and now they are so small. These photos also show how they are obviously just replacement windows inserted into the sash area.
