An absolute MUST if you are looking for something to do in the fall. My daughter is 3 and she (and us) had a blast. We were there for close to 4 hours and didn't even get to everything. I recently had the opportunity to chaperone a wonderful group of elementary school students to this farm. The farm itself is very entertaining. The staff however need to learn to handle their bigotry better. The only staff member I encountered that was extremely pleasant was the gentleman with the animals. He was very good with the students, explaining the animals and helping with feed. There is a huge pavillion in the vicinity of the entertainment and the food building. My group however was sent to an area up the hill away from all provisions including toilets and hand washing stations for their lunch. I was told it was because of the size of the group that determined where they were to sit. I believe it had more to do with the color of our wonderful children. As the staff reacted with a happy smile to all white groups. Ours however was mostly black and brown skin. The most wonderful group of kids I've had the opportunity to spend time with. The pavilion had plenty of empty seating for our group. Had we been seated in that area our group would have been able enjoy more of the farm, but instead had to leave soon after due to the length of time it took to get to our lunch. I've always been a people watcher so today was no different. I had the chance to see it once again as I had to use the facilities at the top of the hill. I chose to sit and wait for my group near the entrance as it was almost time to leave. I witnessed a staff member keep a watchful, discriminating eye on all people of color that needed to use the facilities, while white people(like me) where basically ignored or greated with a smile. In this day, in this world, the kind of behavior presented by the staff of this facility is appalling. Thank goodness our children are innocent and didn't notice, but this 65+ senior definitely did. This review is just for the Nightmares event which I attended last night 10/22/2022. I've been to this before in years past and last night was just a cluster with no visible signs in the dark and insane lines. I felt that too many people were allowed to buy tickets which was overwhelming for the staff. We waited about 90 just to get into the corn maze and then when we exited it there was another huge line for the haunted houses which looked like at least another 45 minutes but by that point we were too defeated to wait again. I felt those were actually the best part of the Nightmares attraction so we would have done that had we known how crowded it would be. Liberty Ridge is a really nice place but I'd advise the owners to put a definite cap on admissions so that attendees have time to see it all especially considering that it's $32 to get in regardless of age. read more

My family and I spent the perfect fall weekend day at Liberty Ridge Farm. We purchased tickets when they were having a discount, so we were able to attend at a reduced rate. The number of activities that the farm offers kept us busy for hours! The standouts for my kiddos included the animals (goats, bunnies, donkeys, pony), jumping pillow, hamster wheel, enormous slide, and the tree house. There are various seating areas and benches for parents to sit and watch their kiddos. There was even a lit fire pit with seating where we could sit and take a load off. We had fun watching the "racing pigs" show and "meeting" the pigs after their race. Pumpkins and gourds were available to purchase, as well as cider donuts and assorted gift items. There was a closed off area with "cabins" where birthday parties can be held. There is a grill on the premises with a variety of options, but we felt the prices were a tad expensive. It was very nice touch that an employee asked us how our experience was on the way out. read more

This is review is for the Halloween Nightmares event: Pros: free parking in huge lot, 5 great very well done attractions, nice & friendly staff, clean bathrooms, warm bonfires, food and other concessions, no outrageous prices on anything. Cons: no signs anywhere telling you which attractions are where on the farm, total lack of security and staffing, LINE CUTTING (that staff does nothing about). Staff did nothing about COVID, everyone was tightly grouped together for long periods of time. I waited over an hour on one line to see 3 attractions in 38 degree weather. A group of extremely loud and obnoxious black women cut the entire long ass line while getting mouthy with people who called them out on it. Staff did nothing. read more

We had such a great time traveling from CT to the last weekend of the sunflower festival yesterday here! We had no idea all of the activities this venue offers includes with your admission. This is a child's dream come true! We LOVED that their was live music, farm animals, and food options. Huge plus they take cards! My husband had a cowboy burger which had pulled pork in it and I had the crispy chicken sandwich. We also had fried dough and the fresh lemonade. All were yummy especially that lemonade! The red golden retriever who makes his way around to greet everyone is a gem! The staff were all very friendly and we are looking forward to bringing our daughter back here once she's born! Sunflower fields were cool as there were many varieties of sunflowers in the fields (you can pick but whatever you want - they supply clippers), and you get a flower of your choice with your admission. Many cool props in the fields for photo ops as well. Posting all the pictures I have and will explain what each thing is in captions! The country store is awesome too - cider donuts, kettle corn, fresh salsas/sauces, and I bought the most perfect farm wine glass! read more

This place appeals to all age groups and has a variety of activities for the fall season. Tickets are $15 each for adult entry which gives access to the entire farm, including the corn maze. This is also an excellent place to bring children for a day out as they have swings and playgrounds and several animals to pet. The cider donuts ($6 for 1/2 dozen) are delicious. You can literally taste the apple cinnamon flavor with every bite. The also have a wide selection of other food and beverages. Bathrooms are readily accessible throughout the farm and parking is also free. read more

I have enjoyed coming here during holiday/seasonal events and have attended the Easter brunch 3 times now . The last 2 times they had not replenished a lot of their buffet food , so my kids and I only had to choose dry old potatoes and eggs. No fresh fruit , no yogurt , no hot items . Really lame and when you pay $29.95 for * children* I would think at least have the food available!! Is there no one overseeing the food? It's not like they have a surprise amount of people, they know how many tix were sold ! Too bad , my family and friends will skip this year for sure. My kids were very disappointed . Last year I wanted to go to Liberty Ridge's haunted house event, but we were hit with a blizzard. This year, hurricane Sandy loomed, but didn't strike until the day after my farm-fresh fun. Liberty Ridge is way up near Albany. That the area doesn't really seem like farmland should be your first clue that this is more of a hokey experience than an actual farm. Tickets for the day, including the Harvest Haunt, cost a mere $18. For that slight cost, here are the things I got to do: - Frolick among livestock. I was bit by a mule. The darker brown mule. She bites. She's a bully. But there was a calf and a piggy and dogs and chickens and bunnies and horses and sheep and goats! - Sit in a giant rocking chair. Don't knock it til you've tried it! - Be the only adult in a line of kids to go down an underground slide. - Pay very little for an awesome lunch of cheesy grilled cheese with chips and a pickle! Cider was bottled. It was fresh and good, but I would have preferred hot and not in a bottle. - Play on tricky interactive puzzles. One is a small maze were you can only make right turns. Sounds easy? It's not! The other is even harder. You have to walk along these colored boards, but you can't repeat colors. - Scold stupid children for getting the above puzzles wrong and then thinking they're easy. My friends called me the puzzle police. - Go into the big maze! It's huge and spooky. Even as a non-Halloween event. - Run in a giant gerbil wheel and bounce on a giant bouncy... thing. - Go into a creepy "educational" bee thing that scared the... wait for it... BEE-jesus out of me! hehehehe! (seriously, I'm scared of bees. there is a live hive in there.) - Go into a smaller corn maze and explore a wooden fort mazze - Sit by one of a zillion fire pits - Play beanbags (I didn't actually get to do this bcs there were kids in the way.) All that PLUS the haunt: - Haunted corn maze: Fun, but honestly, I think the regular unhaunted corn maze is creepier. Rather than having people jump out and yell to scare you, they should just have people rustling the corn or creepy children running around without making noise. - 3-D haunted house: Everyone said this one was the best. But I disagree. Aside from day-glo 3-D effects on the wall, it was basically a regular haunted house. Except it looked like it was from 1989 with all the neon colors. Also, I have one rule in haunted houses: don't be mean. I am a great haunted house client. I will scream and run from anything. But if you're mean, then I stop having fun, and that means that I'm going to act like regular jerks who make it clear that they're not scared at all. A dude in the 3-D house called me a loser for having a bat on my shirt (???) i think he just couldn't think of anything else to say. But it was not scary or clever. And it ruined my experience. - Haunted fort: The wooden fort. No actors, just loud sound effects and the same military pipe-and-drums music playing ad nauseum. - Side show: These were two performers who did some magic tricks and a performance with a bullwhip. It was corny and it ruled. - Second haunted house: AWESOME. one of the best haunted houses I've been to in a while. Creepy, disorienting (actual spinning room and a suffocating hallway you had to squeeze through. NOT for the claustrophobic!), and full of good props and actors. After you're inside, you go out and have to walk through the woods where the scares continue. Just tons of fun, and way better than I expected. - Finally, we all sat by a fire pit and watched fireworks. Seriously, this cost me $18! I was there from about 2 in the afternoon until about 10:30 at night. And I was only bored here and there. Will definitely be back next year. They let you run through the big maze at night during the week, so I think I'll try that instead of the haunted one read more

The kids absolutely LOVE this place. We've been there for Scout weekend two years in a row. The staff is extremely nice. The activities are perfect. And the pricing is right. Our field trip was rained out this afternoon. Even though we had already spent two hours there, we were given rainchecks to return for free another day. Most places won't do that. I'm looking forward to making Liberty Ridge part of our fall family traditions. read more

Had been here two times before and it was great for Halloween attractions. This year was terrible. It took an hour to get tram just to get to the attractions. The lines at each attraction were an hour. They need more attractions and more trams. Need to work on moving the people. read more

This place is absolutely amazing. I have been going to Liberty Ridge Farm for the past 4 years and plan to go this weekend to make it five years. Everything is a spectacular experience here. The service is top-notch, the atmosphere and ambience is spot on, the maze is a real corn maze that has consistently taken me an average of 1.5 hours to finish one (I tend to have consistent bad luck lol). The Barnyard is amazing that combines kid friendly and adult friendly activities. To top it off there is an gorgeous cabin to lounge and eat apple cider donuts, etc. I agree with the last person who mentioned that there is not much signage around, but that is so minor in comparison for the experience for the price. You can literally spend a day there and the price is very very fair to say the least. I highly recommend Liberty Ridge Farm to any families that want a fun day or any couples that want to spend a nice fall day together. There's plenty to do and the standards are very high there. read more

This was one of the worst haunted farms I've been at in years. It was only 20 to get in and if your with kids it's great, but you only had four attractions to go to and they marked off if you went on them. You could only go on everything once, I'm sure it was to keep the lines moving but there's nothing else after the four haunts. read more

This venue advertised a 7-10pm Brews and Boos event for $25 per person in advance. We arrived at 7:01 and were standing in line by 7:04. There was no one assisting with parking, no one assisting with line management for those that had PREPAID (like us). It took over 55 minutes to reach the first ticket booth & it was 8pm. We simply asked for a refund & the rude clerk told us that it was not possible....there were still 2 hours left. We went inside and by 8:30, all beverages were completely sold out. It was a complete ripoff & oversold by the venue. No organization and beyond capacity for the venue. A horrible experience. Go elsewhere. This venue is very expensive for what you get. read more

This was our first visit here and we really enjoyed it. The farm was very clean and nicely maintained and the staff was all really nice. The corn mazes were fun. They had a Phase 1 and Phase 2 maze and we did both and really enjoyed them. I think my favorite part was the rabbit houses and the play areas - very cute and we got to pet the rabbits which was always a nice treat. It was a great day at the farm and we had a lot of fun! read more

We attended the haunted farm on 10/7/17 and had a blast. The people were friendly and the attractions were scary and fun. I've been to many haunted houses attractions and this one is well done. They have 2 indoor haunted attractions and 2 outdoor. The 3D house has very cool effects. It has a series of 3D paint on the walls and floor. which make it feel as if you could touch it. The various rooms are all different. The farmer's house was our favorite. As you exit the back of the creepy house you end up in a trail thru a graveyard. This eventually leads to the tunnel which has a great, high tech surprise at the end. It took almost 15 minutes to work our way thru the whole thing. The outdoor field of screams and fort was also pretty cool. We had some homemade kettle corn and some incredible cider donuts at the grill while watching a very strange, but entertaining sideshow. It is a large farm and it is dark, so finding your way around was challenging, but half the fun. We rode the trolly down to the attractions and walked back. We will be back next year. read more

Beautiful place beautiful people exactly what is advertised. They offer a true and sweet country experience.

This place is a lot of fun. We spent the day there with our 6 year old and had a great time. There are a variety of activities to appeal to all ages and there are bathrooms conveniently located throughout the farm. My husband fell and twisted his ankle on our way in and an employee was very helpful, offering ice and providing a golf cart ride down to the lower area. The food selection could be better, but it is convenient to pack a lunch. We will absolutely be making annual visits to Liberty Ridge Farm. read more

This is a terrific autumn venue for families. There is lots to do. Many activities are appropriate for the younger set (toddlers-preschoolers) and then there are some additional things for older kids. The corn maze is fun. We always bring visiting friends here and everyone is impressed with the wide range of offerings. Recommend!!! read more
