The park is ever always beautiful. It's got the Rotunda with a pond and ducks I think there's a memorial for military and then there's all the fountains that you can go and try to see what the water is like there's a so much beautiful things here my favorites is Fitness fat. It's surrounded by trees that were ped so there may be 6 ft high and then in between them are these little pine trees and they used to have canna lily so you felt like Alice in Wonderland. And it's got the casino which you can visit for small fee to see the museum it has some parking and the restroom is in the old library which is now the Saratoga Arts Center sounds the same side of the street is the carousel Broadway. It is clean there's a handicap stall men's and women's bathrooms. It's fun to people watch and Duck watch and it's fun for dogs. It's fun to grab a lunch somewhere and just sit here and eat it.

My wife and I were in town a few weeks ago for a concert and took a walk up and down Broadway, we almost passed this park and doubled back. So glad we did! It was a beautiful walk, it was in the 90s that day and this walk in the park made it feel cooler with so much tree coverage. Glad to see some areas keep their trees and offer parks throughout their cities.

Is one of 20 plus springs located in Saratoga. Congress Spring is located directly underneath the covered pavilion in Congress Park. The park is found in the heart of Saratoga Springs NY. Congress Spring was discovered in 1792, bottled the water, and shipped it throughout the world. It is a replica of the original. It's a good place to bring your kids and try the Spring water. My son hated the taste and gagged. Hawthorne is a little stronger while Columbian is more closer to normal water.

A must to visit right after stopping by the visitor center. One beautiful public park located across and right in the center of the town. I was told that this park was designed by the same great NYC Central Park Olmstead. The time spent here was worth it. It has 3 water springs, bottled up if feels like it! , has beautiful manicured lawn, has memorials worth seeing, location of the historic casino now turned museum and has a working classic carousel. It is bounded by landscaped or marbled fences. It has nice walking pathways and some arts display on the ground.

A beautiful park located in the heart of downtown Saratoga. Lots of springs that you can try, benches everywhere to sit and relax, a carousel to ride and gorgeous grounds to walk.

Historical landmark - sip (don't gulp) the water. Easy parking on the street. Lovely attraction to stop for a quick stretch of legs.

If you like parks, history, and ducks, this place is for you. Bonus points if you like Saratoga spring water, as it's plentiful from fountains here. I wish I could comment on the Casino, but honestly, the last time I was in it was in 1962 for a wedding reception! There are really interesting special events here from time to time as well. A word of warning - recently, there has been a string of incidents late at night in areas such as Caroline Street and in the park. It's probably advisable to check news and current events in local media before spending any amount of time here in the evening.

A must see when visiting Saratoga! Come here and taste the spring water! Lots of space to meander after dinner nearby. There's also a carousel (only open day time hours), beautiful fountains and monuments and lots of ducks. You can street park for 2-3 hours nearby. Also recommend visiting Saratoga Arts Center which is right next door for a taste of the local art scene.

Lovely park in the heart of the city. Well maintained with a few sites such as the carousel, casino-turned-museum, and koi pond. Safe and family friendly. Worth a stroll.

I came here for a morning stroll one day while in town and it was such a beautiful park. I came with my SLR and walked around to take pictures. It was early in the morning, I saw a few runners, not so busy but I felt safe being there. They have a spring water fountain. I tasted.... I wouldn't necessarily want to drink again as it was a real spring water. It was supposed to be good for your health? Taste was ahhh, I tried once and it was enough. If you are in Saratoga Springs, I highly recommend stopping by here

Nice park to sit and relax, or have a picnic. There's a few different monuments, mineral springs, and plenty of open green space. There's also a museum, fountain, and an enclosed carousel here. If you stop at the visitors center across the street, they'll give you a short brochure that describes the monuments and park history, and a little cup to taste the spring water. I was visiting from out of town and we spent about 10 minutes here. I recommend a pit stop here if in the area, otherwise if you're looking to taste mineral water, I recommend you checkout Saratoga Spa State Park instead.

Congress Park is an absolutely beautiful respite within the area where you can walk more freely without the throngs of people you experience walking down Broadway and the adjoining streets. People come in here to walk strong run just enjoy the beautiful sites. It also is the location of the old casino that used to be there years ago I think it's called Canfield Casino. There is also the carousel in the park the Palladian Circle and there's a World War Memorial pavilion in there as well. It is a Beautiful place to visit if you're in the area

This is such a lovely little park and a beautiful place to take a stroll through on a warm day in Upstate NY! Congress Park is right off Broadway, so it is conveniently located near all of the shopping, bars and dining on the main drag. It's not all that big, if you are in a rush you can see it all in 20 minutes. It's free and worth a stroll through. I grew up in the area, so I'm a big fan of Saratoga (especially when it's not track season). This park is extremely popular for engagement and wedding photos. I lived in the Capital Region for 30+ years and spent a LOT of time in this city. Today I learned that there is a Saratoga Springs History Museum right in the park (by the Canfield Casino), that's something you could also check out if you are here and want to learn more about this historical area. It's fairly inexpensive. Canfield Casino is also located in this park. The casino is no longer a casino, it's a wedding reception venue for the affluent residents of the Capital Region. I went to a wedding there YEARS ago, the glass in the ceiling is beautiful. There are spigots throughout the park where you can sample the water, I don't remember being a fan of the taste though. If you have kids with you, it's worth a visit to the covered carousel that is located in the park.
