I certainly wouldn't call the park a "resort". When I hear the word resort, I think of a high end place. Moke Beach RV Park is just a place to park your RV by the 99, get a hookup and have river access. We were able to get right down to the river which is good cause we don't have wheels on our kayaks; so no carrying them for 100's of feet, just pulled the truck down the dirt path and dragged them right into the water. If you have a small boat (emphasis on the word small) you can launch it from the park as well. This part of the Moke is not for speed boats (due east) there are many impediments such as fallen trees and very low waters...which in my opinoin, is what keeps the place peaceful. We did see a couple of jet skis but once they saw the conditions, they headed back towards the lake. Cost to launch, $5 per vessel. Not a bad deal. They do have a restroom with plumbing, but there's only one person in the office and if she's not there you're outta luck! Oh, and really, there are few places where you can pull your kayak or canoe ashore as most property this neck-a-the-woods is private. The proprietor is friendly (yes she was there) and informative about the area. The only other choice for river access is to know someone who lives on the Moke or to go to Lodi Lake....which I've read on their website, has added kayaks to the types of boats they rent at their boathouse. There are also kayak companies that bring their rigs out to the lake to rent-it's about time! Lodi Lake would be the perfect place for learning to kayak on a calm waterway. The thing we learned by our peaceful kayak experience;you don't have to drive miles and miles somewhere else to enjoy nature and the beautiful waterways; they're right in our own backyard!

Not a place to recreate or enjoy anything other than the inside of your rig. The staff was VERY FRIENDLY and when the office was open, very helpful. Made the reservation by telephone two weeks in advance. Went well. There is no general store nothing to buy other than propane (a plus) and well, it was just, very spartan. The campground is really just a parking lot with lots of full timers. The full timers have kind of taken over to the point of making the RV parking lot look just well, junky. Not secure and near a very swampy looking sort of river which try's to flow under a highway overpass. I couldn't quite see myself kayaking anywhere near this place but, people have said they do it. Go figure. When my Bro found out where we were staying, he kind of chuckled. Said homeless people always setup camp just down the dirt path and under the highway bridge. It felt that way although we didn't see it personally. There was however, a lot of junk down there by the rivers edge. Looks like a great place to film a show about a murder. Bathrooms, clean and unusual. Nothing else to report. I wont be back because there are certainly better, more secure places where I'd surely feel a lot safer. Sorry guys, as nice and pleasant as you'all were, the park just doesn't get it.

Keep in mind that anyone who stores their boat or is a member of their yacht club can also access the area so you will see more than just RVers here. The park itself is beautiful, clean and very well kept up. There are restrooms, a laundry room, dog park and little fishing deck. There are also some little rental cottages right on the water as well. Very quiet spot except for the cars coming and going to the marina/boat area. The views of the Delta are truly spectacular especially the sunsets....it was also pretty cool to see all the birds flying over. The best wildlife sighting though was a sea lion that seems to have made the Delta his home. He had an audience as so many of us watched him playing with a fish he had caught, it was so fun and amazing to watch. Here are just a few cons: We stayed in site #12 as the ones at the end of the peninsula were all taken. Well, it was brighter than an airport landing strip. The street lights come on as soon as the sun sets and stay on all night. It made it impossible to sit outside and enjoy the evening with a fire since you are literally in the spotlight. I would never stay in those particular sites again. The nine at the end of the peninsula is where it's at though. The other bummer is that we were invaded by ants on our second morning and we could not keep them away no matter how much we cleaned, removed food or sprayed. I despise ants so it was very gross and annoying. They were all over outside and crawling on our hoses, ugh. Recommend sites 1-9!

Unfortunately, the same attention doesn't seem to be given to basic cleanliness and maintenance. The public restrooms and showers were unacceptable. A paper towel sat on the bathroom counter from the time we checked in until the following day, making it hard to believe the facilities were cleaned during that time. The showers themselves were dirty, but the worst part was one of the rubber shower mats. It had been flipped over, exposing a thick layer of black mold covering most of the underside. Seeing something like that in a shared shower is both disgusting and raises serious questions about how often these facilities are actually cleaned. The park does have some positives. The grass is in decent shape, and compared to many RV parks in the area, there were relatively few stickers for our dogs to pick up. Unfortunately, the overnight sprinklers ran long enough to soak not only the lawn but also my outdoor mat, even though it was sitting completely on the concrete pad outside our RV. In the end, what I remember most isn't the rules or the grass--it's the dirty showers and moldy shower mat. If management spent as much effort maintaining the facilities as they do enforcing park rules, this would be a much better place to stay

The Jackson Rancheria RV Park is a breeze just off Highway 88 in Jackson, California…read more This RV park easily accommodates large rigs, with plenty of pull‑through sites as well as back‑in spaces. The park is divided into four RV areas, each with its own unique feel. There are two pools: one designed more for kids, and the other a simpler, quieter pool that adults tend to prefer, though both are fully family‑friendly. A couple of clubhouses are also available for group events if needed. Campsites come with full hookups--power, water, and sewer--along with generous green spaces between sites that make the whole area feel open and relaxed. Each site includes a picnic bench, which is surprisingly convenient. Security patrols the park regularly, creating a very safe environment. The property is pet‑friendly, with plenty of grassy areas for dogs and a paved walking trail that loops around the entire campground. I was actually surprised at how many dogs were around when I really looked but no barking or other surprises on the grass. In other words, very responsible dog owners. A shuttle runs on a regular schedule to pick up guests and take them to the main casino, where you'll find gambling, restaurants, and a variety of activities. The views are spectacular, with densely wooded hillsides, rolling terrain, and plenty of wildlife including deer, squirrels, and more. It's a beautiful, peaceful setting that adds a lot to the overall experience.

Two concerns 1: the night lighting is extremely bright compared to the original park. Way too bright!! This can be easily remedied by replacing the bulbs with a different color with less power. We will continue to come here for years. Hopefully, they dim the bright lighting!
