This location has been the best when it comes to customer service and just being friendly. I have been with this storage location for over 10 years now and I am about to close out my account and moving on. The staff has been incredible. Just three weeks ago, myself with my son's friend were moving out my his belongs out of storage, but I forgot my keys to my lock. The staff was able to call a lock smith to open my lock, then was able to find a junk service to pick up my unwanted items. All this on a last minute situation due to my forgetfullness of my key. I've rented from storage max for over 19 years . They recently have changed management and I have to say the office people are NOT accommodating as the old management was. Now they charge you not only a late fee but they charge you for writing a letter if you're late put a a lien on your storage with no phone call at the beginning of the month or nothing I know you do not manage our lives Rebecca but a co. A courtesy call to the person who pays the storage would be nice and professional and not talk to the people that rent from you and pay yours paycheck in a condescending way which I find very unprofessional. I've rented different units before and after this place, by far, reach all my expectations and some. I moved away from Stockton but kept a small unit for my son's stuff. I've had different sizes of units on different times from this storage place since 2008 for different reasons but I wish I could just bring the place with me wherever I go because I haven't experienced the best in any other storage facilities. First off Storage Max is a well run storage facility, it's clean and pest free. More importantly, to me, is my interaction with the office personnel, Jessica and Bonnie! I was Jessica's first tenant and she did a great job and is very professional and kind. In talking with Bonnie, she also is professional and kind, very personable. In fact talking with Bonnie this morning has made my day. We went over the weekend to get a storage space for our new RV. Lucky for us, they had 2 spots available and one was a pull-through spot. The person in the office was very friendly and helpful and had someone take us out in the golf cart so we could actually see the spots that were available. Prices are decent (we're paying $75 a month) but I'd pay more if I had to just because of the convenience of the location. This is close to our house and close to the freeway and they have excellent security. According to them, they have had only one break-in in 5 years and it was some idiot that broke into the storage space next to his and they caught it all on camera!! What a dumb ass. They have cameras everywhere and they have infrared sensors on all of the perimeter fences. We need to get those for our house =) read more

Been storing my stuff here for months now. Secure facility n friendly staff. I like their security protocol, makes u feel ur stuff is safe n that everything n everyone is legit with the ins n outs. Moved my stuff into a clean space n the premises are always clean too. Like the other yelpers said, Pay over the phn or set up a monthly pymnt plan...easy peasy. My space came w a free heavy duty lock too n half off the first three months, dunno if that special is going on atm. Lots of room to bring a large truck in to haul ur goods in n out. Lots of construction at the French camp/5 junction, the result thus should mk it easier for quicker hwy access to ur new storage solution. read more

Totally safe, very clean, simple to use and professionally operated. The front office is always friendly and eager to help. I stored my new bike here for months. I picked it up and dropped it off a few times while riding in California. Last week, I rode my bike to Cabo San Lucas where I stored again, until my next adventure. I highly recommend Storagemax. I stored stuff here for about 4 months. I checked around and found this place easy to get to and accessible during normal hours. The lady at the office told me about their move in special (1/2 off first 3 months). Some of the places that I checked for pricing purposes didn't tell me about any specials until I queried them about it but Storage Max was upfront about offering a deal I found their prices substantially lower than other storage places in the area. I got a tour of available units (clean and secure) and the security system explained plus a FREE heavy duty LOCK for my unit. There were no BS Administration charges like some other storage places like to nick you for.. People were always friendly when I paid my bill. You can even pay it over the phone with your visa/MC cards if you don' plan to visit. The few times I went there during my stay were uneventful -- as they should be. I always felt my stuff was safe and secure. 5 star experience in my book. read more

They provide access to your unit 365 days a year! (Even Hollidays) "And they don't try to sell you insurance that you might not need!" This place has a great location near I-5. Warning!! Do not store valuables at this location. Management is aware of rodent and other problems. They seem initially nice. After you are in unit. They will change access hrs and harrass you if you do the slightest or are inside one minute late. read more

The security and customer service sold us immediately...after having been to two other places the same morning and being disappointed.
