I was scheduled to have my taxes done at a different office and the service I experienced was unpleasant. I called this office and just like that communication was very reassuring. I talked to Larry asking him if I can come in last minute, which I felt bad but he managed to do it and I was grateful for that. Before our appointment, Larry (the owner) gave prices and helpful information to us in finding their location. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by both Medy Fernandez and Laura, who are the primary tax preparation specialists. Immediately offering chilled spring water, coffee, chips, and an amazing variety of candy, we were off to a good start. Medy handled both our personal and business taxes preparation, and she is exceptional! She looked over the information we prepared for her, asked a few questions, reviewed the figures, told us the relevant changes in the tax laws that may affect our tax returns, and then told us to relax, check out a couple of small stores nearby, and come back in half an hour. Medy had everything prepared for us, ready before a half an hour was up, it was set up beautifully, professionally, and seemingly effortlessly by Medy Fernandez. We "hit the jackpot" with Medy, who had even taught math earlier in her career. Wish I didn't go there... I used to prepare taxes in Pasadena, so decided to find somebody local since I was in a rush (that was my fault - I waited for too long). I called Liberty tax asking if they'll prepare my business taxes (which are very simple), they said yes. Since it was only 4 days till my filing day I asked if they'll be able to finish on time and if they won't tell me up front, so I'll find somebody else. They hold my papers for 3 days and said they'll file an extension, because they're not going to finish on time... On the last day (when I was supposed to file) they told me they CAN'T do my taxes and they CAN'T even file an extension... I waisted my time with them. read more

I came in the next morning and was told that the office manager was not here and they haven't done any banking. Was told to come back about noonish. Guess what , office manager is still not here !
