If I could give zero stars here, I would. We dropped off our completed (by another accounting…read morefirm) 2021 returns in the Fall of 2022 so that this company could complete our 2022 returns. Needless to say, this whole experience was a disaster. On April 25th they called to say our returns were completed. After receiving refunds for a least the prior 3 years, they did not advise that we owed in excess of $6,000. We were flabbergasted, needless to say. Upon talking with the owner, she stated that they had a difficult time opening the email reports for our investment advisor. A simple phone call could have fixed that. Upon delivering paper copies to them, a $2000 reduction in taxes resulted. I add that this was on April 30th, the final date to file. Their staff informed us that "the more you make, the more you pay". They must think we aren't too bright! We took our returns to another accountant & guess what? Yes, you guessed it - we both have refunds amounting to $2000. So, that's a $6000 error. If they weren't capable of completing our returns, they had 6 months to let us know. Run, don't walk from this company!!!!

They clearly just didn't want to give me a refund then and there which is fine with me, but they could have said so. Monday passed and I called on Wednesday to give them the benefit of the doubt and they said that they would call me the following day (Thursday). Well Thursday passed and now it's Friday and I still have not received a call, so I called a few times and kept getting sent to voicemail. Finally they answered and said Kim who was "busy" doing my taxes would call me that day. Yeah right I heard that enough times and asked to speak to a manager but they said she wasn't there and she would call me. It's been awhile and still havnt received nothing. Very disappointed that a "professional" business is doing this.
