I went to yelp for help and found Kate with Mayhew Accounting. When I did my search she was the first one to contact me. She set up a short 10-15 minute meet and greet consultation via a weblink to get an understanding of our needs. The call went well minus some technical problems on my end but she was completely understanding and professional through it all. We down loaded an app called Tax Dome that we used to upload documents and communicate through. She asked us to take Pictures and upload tax documents from our previous year as well as our current taxes. The cost was around $300.00 for our service. Everything was handled remotely. If she needed additional information she sent us a message. When we were traveling and needed a few days she waited without pressure or attitude. Very professional and outstanding customer service for a first time user did not go unnoticed. Our funds have been deposited from the state and federal and our payment for the service completed. My bank account and personal information protected and a good sense of completing task safely.

Stay away from this company!! Beverly Anderson claims to be an "Enrolled Agent", which is a…read morespecialist in filing tax returns. Supposed to be as knowledgeable as a CPA for filing returns (not giving advice) due to ongoing education. I used Anderson for filing 2014 and 2015 tax year. 2014 was OK-- but I never got any call-backs from my voicemails or emails to Anderson. I found this to be annoying and rude. She ignores her customers. I thought, well, maybe that was just 2014, and maybe she was busy. So, for 2015, I experienced the same lack of communication-- never responding to emails or voicemails. The office is only open on Tues and Thurs., so if you can't call and talk directly on one of those 2 days, you are out of luck. Do not go to any service provider who ignores you as a customer! My 2015 tax return was a handled VERY poorly. In fact, she originally had me paying $13,000+ additional to the IRS! I couldn't understand what was going on, since I knew I was due a refund. Well, she made an error. After re-doing the return, there were still errors. But, I had to pay the tax prep fee to her before I was even allowed to see my return. To date, Anderson has not submitted my corrected tax return to the IRS (I am owed additional IRS refund). And, Anderson overcharged me approx $300 for filling out excess forms that were completely unnecessary (as verified by three CPAs, a call to the IRS, and a simple google of how to report the items in question (won't go into the details here). So far, Anderson refuses to acknowledge the errors, and has refused to file my corrected return!! This is a terrible tax service company. Advice: stay far away. In fact, I found that other private tax return companies (with CPAs on staff) charge LESS for tax prep than Anderson did (even ignoring the excess $300 in dispute). She charged me about $725 (with about $300 in dispute). Another firm (with CPAs on staff) would have charged me $350 for the identical work.!! (I got a quote, submitting my 2015 tax return). I have filed a complaint with BBB.
