I got a full setup for around $200--which is honestly a steal. Everywhere else I checked was at least double, even places like Trader Joe's. I came in with a general idea but honestly had no clue about flowers. I told Ivette what I was thinking, and she recommended a display that turned out to be a huge hit at the party--everyone kept complimenting it! The flowers were absolutely gorgeous--fresh, vibrant, and really brought the whole event together. Ivette, the owner, was amazing to work with. She's professional, communicative, kind, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. You can tell she really cares about her work and her customers. They also have a wholesale business in LA, which explains how they're able to offer such great pricing here--huge bonus. It's a small, local business, which I love supporting. You can stop in for a quick pickup or order online, and they also offer delivery to nearby areas. Very amazing all around. Highly recommend--I'll definitely be coming back!

However, me being in NorCal and my friend in SoCal, I had NO idea what shop would fit the bill. Thanks to the internet & the trusty Yelp community, I found Casa! And I'm so glad Yelp didn't steer me wrong. I quickly and easily went on their website site and to my surprise, they had an option I'd never seen before with a florist, their 'Designer's Choice', pricing started at $30!! Basically, you select the type of recipient (mom, wife, friend, etc), name a price, then select a date. Of course I had to pay an $18 delivery on top, but that's to be expected. I was able to leave a message to go with the delivery and submit my payment...so easy! Of course I wanted to be sure all went smoothly with the delivery, so I called the shop after placing my order to ensure it was received. A nice lady answered and confirmed, then proceeded to ask if there was any particular preferred time for delivery, no guarantees I think. Unsure whether my friend would be home to recurve delivery, I told her I'd call back....Lord knows I wouldn't want it sitting in heat on the doorstep if at all possible! Once I confirmed my friend would be home all day, I made sure to call back and say it wouldn't matter the time, but earlier than later would be nice, giving my friend more time to enjoy the flowers. The lady said she'd get it out before noon the next day and would email a picture of the delivery. THAT was such a wonder touch to this entire experience!! Because with other online services, you read reviews of poor quality deliveries and partially wilted florals that bring disappointment instead of joy. The pictures from Casa AND my friend were gorgeous and perfection!! Loved it to say the least. So Casa de las Flores 2 not only kept to their word and delivered on their promise, but they also delivered a meaningful gift to an amazing woman! BTW, I forgot to mention, Casa is a woman-owned business, so I DEFINITELY can get behind that! If anyone is looking for a wonderful experience all around when it comes to floral design & delivery in South Gate area, I would HIGHLY recommend this fine establishment and without a doubt use again in the future should the need arise.
