I have had apple fritters from this place for a while. In my opinion when they moved the prices went up and the quality went way down. I took a trip to Tennessee on 4 May. Stopped by this morning to pickup doughnuts. Holland was at the drive thru and when I asked for a special order, he did bat an eye! I have a particular 3 year old who doesn't like white on her doughnut holes. Holland went above and beyond to make sure she got all brown ones. His smile, friendliness and overall positive attitude on an Easter Sunday, made my day, Harper's day and all of us! Thank you Holland for being such an incredible young man! On our annual trip to Gulf Shores, we arrived this time in time to try out the donuts here - normally we arrive later in the afternoon and they're closed. The donuts melt in your mouth. I tried the maple, plain yeast, and blueberry cake. They were all three great. I judge donut shops by the glazed yeast. This shop passed with highest marks. There is coffee here too, but I didn't try it. The people were pleasant to deal with. The store smell started from the outside with that 'fresh-baked-donut' smell. When I opened the door, I knew I was in for a treat. From now on, I will be sure to arrive to gulf shores in time for donuts - you should too! :) read more

It's a small establishment but when you walk in... you'll feel right at home (seems like a family owned business). It's not the fanciest place in the world... but don't let the aesthetics fool you! I think the lady who helped us was new so she didn't ask to heat up our pastry when we ordered.. but apparently they usually ask. If they forget, just kindly remind them and I'm sure they'd be glad to do it for you. They're open super early... which means getting your donut fix first thing in the morning. They also close early... so wake up early, eat some donuts... and then go back to sleep! Ordered the jalapeño crochet (sp?) and it's basically a hot dog wrapped in some kind of bread / croissant. It's delicious... and probably more delicious when hot. I'd def come back if I'm ever in the area again. read more

BEST DONUT SHOP EVER! I am here so often especially when I'm on my way to a volleyball tournament in Foley. I always get the Kolache and it is sooooo good! The staff is so nice and there is a variety of food to choose from. They also serve coffee and plenty of cold drinks in their fridges. It's amazing! read more

Go early and get the best donuts before they start to sell quickly. I have found that by noon, the staff have stopped filling the cases because it's nearly time to close shop and who wants to waste donuts? Kolaches and anything fancy were gone by then, but the glazed usually remain and they're awesome, so you can't lose. Fast and friendly service. Krispy Kreme doesn't sell maple bacon donuts, but Lickin' Good does and you don't have to drive to Foley to get them. read more

I stopped by Lickin Good Donuts to purchase two dozen donuts after going by Krispy Kreme's store which was listed as 24 hours on it's outdoor sign. However, KK had changed their hours, had no sign on the door to let customers know and ignored those standing outside. I headed to Lickin Good Donuts and was glad I did. The donuts were hot, the customer service was wonderful, and best of all, their sign said they were open -- and they were! I will definitely do all of my donut buying at Lickin Good. The maple bacon donuts were delicious as were the glazed ones. I bought sausage kolaches as well. It was nice to have a choice to support a local business. read more

Stop in on way to the beach for some Awesome donuts! My favorite is the chocolate glazed Bavarian cream donut. Today I picked up a dozen assorted for the office. The Maple Bacon donut was quartered & shared it with 3 others. 2 of us liked it and two thought it was odd tasting. So try it for yourself! read more

The donuts here are definitely way better than anything you'll find at any of the chain donut stores and grocery store bakeries. They were good and tasted fresh. They also have a nice selection of breakfast sandwiches. read more

Best donuts ever! I love all of their different donuts, apple fritters and the kolaches are heaven! My favorite one is the one with smoked cheddar sausage. My favorite donut is probably the maple glazed or cream cheese filled with chocolate on top. Much cheaper than krispy kreme and 10 times better! read more

There is nothing in this shop that isn't delicious. The hardest thing here is trying to decide what to get. Try the Kolaches, breakfast croissants and all the doughnuts some favorites are maple bacon, chocolate cream filled, blueberry cake, vanilla cream filled and of course the plain glazed. read more

Maple Bacon donuts??? OMG!!! We stop on the way to the condo here and there and let me just say this.....WHOA. So delicious. Let me put it this way, my uncle who is very known in politics in this state will POUT if we don't bring a Maple Bacon glazed to the family condo when he is there.
