This was our first visit to Glazed Donuts, a little shop tucked into a shopping plaza. The space inside is small, but that wasn't a problem for us as we picked up two dozen donuts to bring to our kids' house for a 4th of July sleepover (a delicious way to avoid making breakfast the next morning!). The woman who helped us, possibly the owner, was kind and welcoming. Several fun and festive donuts, especially ones with creative decorations and M&M ones, caught our eye. Delivery was smooth and no problems. I received exactly what I ordered and everything was very fresh and delicious. The donuts that were left over to the next day were still fresh tasting and delicious. The breakfast sandwich I ordered was perfect. I ordered the sausage, egg and cheese on a croissant. My son and I both got a burrito and it was filled with a mild sausage, scrambled eggs, and a cheddar cheese on a medium size tortilla. It was only $2 so I didn't mind that there was more sausage than anything else but it was tasty. The donut itself was freshly made and had a "melt in your mouth" texture. Because of the glaze, sweet chocolate topping and generous amount of filling, this is a very sweet donut. The front counter employee was not friendly at all and made me and my young son feel like we were taking too long with his sighs and grunts. Yay!!! We finally have a local donut shop in Daphne! I read a recent review on the place from a trusted Yelper and immediately got up and went to pick up a little breakfast variety for my hubs before he woke up. I ordered a maple bacon donut, a sausage and cheese kolache, a Conecuh kolache, and a breakfast croissant for me. All were fantastic and fresh, and that donut was one of the best donuts I've ever had. They have a cooler full of drinks that includes chilled coffee drinks, sodas and juice. The place is extremely small. I think they had one table in there, so you might consider getting your order to go. One trip there, and breakfast will be your favorite meal of the day. read more
