Unfortunately, we wanted a larger unit with hardwood and they didn't have one available. Daria is the lease manager and she was kind enough to show us around on short notice. They have a really nice pool and weight room and it seems like a great neighborhood in Palmer Ranch. There is a Lowe's and Target within walking distance and the Costco is about 1 mile away. Check their website for an updated list of apartment rentals but a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom will cost you about $1,350.00. We decided to pay a lot more and move to Siesta Key but the units we viewed were really nice. It's worth a look for sure!

I bought my unit and when I gutted the kitchen there was a little mold on the wall behind the kitchen sink. Got a spray from Lowes, you spray it and then wipe and that's that. Mold is gone and wall is sealed. But you have to understand those kitchen cabinets were 20 yrs old and this is Florida. Also the renters who lived here were horrible. There was dog pee stains on the carpet (was the first thing I ripped out). What kind of ppl wouldn't walk their god? Abhorrent. Anyway, there was no mold anywhere else. Besides, I had the unit inspected before I bought it. About the roaches, all and all, last year (2021) I saw 3 roaches (palmettos). All during the summer. First I must say I live on the 3rd floor. So I found one in my bathtub (gross) probly came from the pipes, and the others my cat was chasing lol nice live toys for him. He kills them eventually. No need for sprays. So that's that. There's awesome pool, nice gym, tennis court, landscaping is beautiful. My neighbors are all awesome. Management is on premises and very nice as well. I'm very happy I bought here when I did. Also it's very close to siesta. I go there on my ebike (there's a bike lane on the US41!) takes me 20min, door to beach (crescent beach)!

All units must be shown by a realtor... which is fine but they called in perhaps a property manager...name might be Cindy...she may be the rudest person I have ever met. She walked in, accused us of trespassing, told us we needed a new realtor and to only come back if we had a realtor. I told her I would not need a realtor because I would NEVER live there! It was a beautiful stay. The softest Beach sand I ever walked on. White powder! For that you have to come visit. For all future Siesta Key visits , Siesta Sands on the Beach will be my home base. You can view the individual condo units online and chose the one you want. Flexibility to rent a few nights or a week. We rented unit 71 for 3 nights. We preferred 1st floor as you have a small patio on the front and back. #71 is one bedroom but has sofa pull-out bed if desired. The owner has it fully engineered with 3 ceiling fans, USB ports, storage everywhere, kitchen with all dish-ware, 2 TV's, plus all the little items you may have forgotten to bring. Well thought out for many little conveniences. Bonus, it is only a 7 minute walk to the village where there are many shops, restaurants, etc., but little parking available day or night. We walked to the Summer House and the Cottage and recommend both.

I asked to switch units or have some sort of grace and I was sent an email explaining nothing would be done for me and my lease will be cancelled. I would highly recommend to look elsewhere because this has thrown a wrench into my move to Tampa- 5 days prior to the date of my move. This is insane.

People are friendly, its quiet but not far from the action. You can walk or use the exercise room or swim for exercise, Next door is not only the restaurants but a marina where you can rent boats or go for a "short cruise". This year we ate at the tiki bar twice for lunch and had Justin as our server both times. He was GREAT! He made sure we had what we needed and more. He actually connected with his tables and got to know them. He gave us some good laughs and had actual conversations with us, not making us feel like just another table. Lido is lucky to have him!
