Last Wednesday, I went in there and bought 2 - 25 pound dumbbells and a 35 pound kettle bell. I paid approximately $1.50 a pound. I spoke to someone yesterday and they told me that they would be getting a shipment in there today around 2 PM. So I called a few times today and they said "the truck wasn't there yet" "truck wasn't there yet" and then finally that the truck had arrived at 5 PM and to get there for 6 PM. When I got there, I waited like an hour while being completely ignored. While I was sitting there, I noticed that they had put a price on a wall of $2 a pound... When I walked up to the gentleman and asked him about the 4 - 25 pound dumbbells and the two 2 - 35 pound dumbbells that I was waiting for, he turned around to me and told me that he didn't even have any and when I mentioned the fact of the price he said well "it's supply and demand... ". I'm sorry, that's price gouging. Plus, they probably shouldn't even be open anyway because they are nonessential.... Word-of-mouth is key and they have officially lost a customer.

I went to Zumiez in Bridgewater and met a nice young man named Shane. He was so friendly and helped me build the perfect board for my daughter. He told me which products were best and gave me tips on where to take my daughter skateboarding. He was so patient and answered all of my questions. I am so glad I went there. I've always browsed around here every now and then during lunch, but never bothered to undergo the full experience of doing a fit test and all of the fixins. This time around, I didn't want to mess around so I did the proper routine. Of course, the benefit of coming here on a weekday is that you don't have to wait very long to do the fit test and try on sneakers. With their help, I did finally decide on a sneaker to buy, although it admittedly took me a few extra days to make the purchase. However, the service was spectacular, prompt, and attentive in my eyes. The prices are what you'd expect from a running shoe store. I did splurge a little extra for custom insoles. In the limited time I've begun to wear my new shoes, I've noticed the difference. For me, the decision was easy because I was able to utilize my HSA employer-contributions from my previous job against it. By default, I was enrolled as a VIP member. I probably won't stick around with the membership, but it's good to have it for your initial purchase.
