While I definitely did see more than I'm used to, this store definitely still caters to the larger teams (Dodgers, Yankees, Padres, etc). And I don't personally blame them, but I was definitely a bit disappointed. I appreciate that the ground/top floor has areas broken out by teams so you are able to quickly find and browse jerseys and other gear for your favorite team easily. It's easy to navigate around and while they have a large selection, it doesn't feel cramped. Downs stairs they have a bit more 'fun' inventory such as city connect jerseys, game used balls/bats/bases, and even a jersey customization area. However, if you're looking to get any/all jerseys customized, you will be disappointed. For example I wanted to get a custom City Connect Dodgers jersey, but they said they could only to the blue lettering on a white jersey. Obviously this makes sense since they'd have to have a massive inventory to accommodate all team jersey options, but once again I just wanted to point that out in case you were thinking you were going to be able to get anything your heart desired. Prices are basically the same as the online MLB store (minus shipping where applicable) which is good. Staff was friendly and helpful. In all, while I wasn't able to find/buy everything I was hoping to, I was still really impressed by the store and had a wonderful visit. I definitely hope to swing by the next time I am in NYC to see if they have any new options.

Came here looking for a straw fedora-style hat for T this weekend and was pleased with SC&H's hat selections. Lots of styles and a decent range of sizes were available. Sales staff was present in the store, with 2 people on the floor and one behind the counter, but they didn't approach us or greet us, as they were engaged with other customers T tried on a number of hats though finding mirrors was a bit of challenge. Ultimately, the two choices we liked were a good $10 above the prices we had seen from street vendors for what seemed like identical hats, so we left empty-handed.

A week later, I received an email saying the hat had arrived. When I got to the store, the employee told me the wrong hat was ordered. I said fine, here's my number -- return it and get the correct one. Another week goes by, and when I come back, the same hat is still sitting in the box -- not even returned. Lazy employees, no urgency, and the store feels more like a hangout spot than a place of business. Customers shouldn't have to deal with this kind of nonsense. The sales rep never processed the return, so I had to request a refund myself. Still no hat, just wasted time and money (including paying for parking in SoHo). All I heard was, "Oh, I'm sorry." Sorry doesn't fix terrible service. Completely unprofessional -- everything about this place is trash. The store needs serious management or maybe just let AI run it because at least robots would do the job.
