This will likely be a gushy and long-winded review. I just want to thank the folks at this bike…read moreshop in Orlando for helping me with my bike. You see, I live in West Virginia and I bought my bike about 11 years ago at a bike shop in Fairfax, Virginia. I paid about $700 for it. That's the most I've ever paid for a bike. I am not a racer or anything. In fact, I have multiple sclerosis and my bike is a source of exercise and physical therapy for me. I love it so much. It fits my body exactly and has seven gears which makes it easy to ride in my hilly neighborhood in WV. After 11 years, my bike was getting a bit worn out. I have certainly gotten my money's worth out of the bike. When I bought it, I didn't know it was a really good brand called Electra Townie. I just liked its features. I have taken it on vacations with me many time. In March of '26, just a few weeks ago, I took my bike to Orlando on vacation with me. I was getting ready to ride when the sprocket chain came off again as it had been doing for the past year of so. I tried to get it back on but I couldn't so I searched online for the nearest bike shop and drove over. When I arrived at David's World of Cyclery, Felix met me and helped me get my bike out of my car. He took it inside and told me that he could fix it. Since it is near my birthday, I told him to go ahead and fix or replace anything that needed it, a kind of overall as gift to myself. He made up an estimate and I agreed. It was interesting when he typed my name into his computer and found my name and info already there. He said that the shop where I bought my bike in Virginia was probably a "Trek" bike shop and the Electra was a brand of bike owned my Trek. I was stunned! I felt like a had accidentally found my bike's mother ship! Felix was so friendly. It took a couple of days but he fixed it so beautifully for me! Now I can ride with no fear that the chain will fall off. I also got other things repaired that I can't recall. When I returned to pick up my bike, a young guy helped me take it to my car and attach it to the bike rack. He told me his name but I'm sorry, I forgot it. I just want to thank them for giving my precious bike back to me like new!

Great costumer service! Very Trustworthy staff who don't try to swindle you. A few days before…read moreChristmas, I went with my kids and we brought in 2 bikes, 1st was a simple flat which cost $27 to repair with a tube change. 2nd had a gear sticking issue and they said they could fix it if that's what I wanted but it wouldn't be worth it because the fix would cost more then what the bike was worth. I said ok just fix the flat on 1st bike then. after he finished he called my son over to the height measure tape they had on the wall and said hold on. He then brought out a bike for my son to replace the one that had the gear issue that would be too expensive to fix. He said costumers donate bikes sometimes when they move up to better bikes and he was gifting this bike to my son, no strings attache. we were very appreciative and he even apologized for not having one to gift my daughter but i was like no, this is an early Christmas gift for my son and thanked him. we were fixing my daughters flat so no worries. To Gustavo, Thank you for making my son feel special and bringing us some early Christmas Magic. Will always highly recommend this shop for being an honest retailer and giving back to the community!

If you're looking for a typical mall experience on steroids, the Florida Mall is the way to go…read more I've never disliked this mall, but it definitely has a different feel than other local shopping centers. It is filled with tourists due to the connected hotel and proximity to the airport, so even on a Tuesday it felt packed in here. The layout feels almost like a labyrinth but there is a lot of signage on where to go. Most of the stores are ones you can find at most malls, but there are quite a bit of 'unique' stores as well. You've also got the Crayola experience, which is pretty large. While this mall wouldn't be my first choice to go to, it does do the trick if you're needing your fix of big name stores.

Visited The Florida Mall again for Xmas in July. Really love this event…read more They had some free samples like chocolates and churros and soap making and face painting and free Santa pics and some other pic OPPs. Last year we went and they had Christmas flamingos. They had more this year. They also passed out Christmas bags with Simon mall logo on them. I would be back for this event. My issue with The Florida Mall is that the A/C doesn't work well. It's a huge mall with tons of shops and tons of people walking around. They are so busy. We were looking for stores with the best A/C bc we couldn't really beat the heat here. Primark has the best A/C. Along with Armani Exchange, Ghirardelli bc of their chocolates, and The TNS Store. I wish I could have stayed longer but the lack of A/C made me want to leave. I very much loved the Xmas in July Event and Santa, Mrs. Claus, the elves, the photographer, and the other people working were so nice. The AC is sure lacking and this was the issue last year. Perhaps the big space, older mall and open ceiling exposing the sunshine sure doesn't help. This is a very popular mall. It could def be better here.
