    Sporting the hats!

Quaint little store in Disney Springs! Customer service at the highest level (lady forgot her name had beautiful tattoos), she helped climb on ladders to look for the perfect KANGOL Tropic 507 hat for my husband. He bought quite a few colors. Smooth process and selection of hats were plentiful! Never knew there were so many kinds of hats lol. Great value as was cheaper than Amazon!

Hats, hats and more hats. This shop has plenty of options, serious and not so serious hats. The shop ids a bit on the small side but you don't necessarily feel crowded. My girlfriend enjoyed trying on some of the different types of hats. The hats are really nice but the prices are a bit high as well.

This place is about hats, no accessories - unless it's related to hats - just hats! This place has hats. Small store with hats literally from floor to ceiling. Fun to serious and everything in between and in all different types of material. Leather, rabbit, beaver, straw, and sequins (Look at my check-in pic. It's perfect for wear at an Elton John Concert). Western style hats - got that one down. This however was a new foray into straw hats. This time it was a Panama (made in Ecuador) hat. Of course our sales guy Bob was a wealth of information. So I had worn one - a baseball team give away this past summer and liked the look & feel. Which brings us here. So after all of our time & education I bought a Bailey 2.5" brim Panama, stretch & steamed to my liking. We've walked past this place frequently - glad we stopped

This is one of many hats I've purchased here. They have great customer service, and high quality hats.

It is not a huge place. Perhaps a lot of what they have is not exactly practical. However, you will have fun going in here and you might just buy something to take home in addition to taking pictures of in the store. It was super fun to try on the steam punk hats and the person at the store had a lot of enthusiasm explaining the details behind each of them which all seemed to be of surprisingly good quality.

Great experience every time I stop in when on vacation. Very patient employees who are willing to help look for sizes and write down style names, etc to look on website when I get home. I got a Panama this time and plan on looking up a 1920s style hat I had my eye on in the shop but didn't have the right color available. My daughter got a felt hat and they straightened it out a bit and they also steamed just the cloth band on my hat which had been crushed by the other hats on the shelf.

Chapel Hats inside Disney Springs -- the perfect place to find a fedora for the Yelp party.

Right next door to Tea Traders Café in the Disney Springs area of Walt Disney World is a fabulous shop that sells nothing but hats. Chapel Hats has an amazing and eclectic collection of funky and high fashion hats for sale. My friends Melissa and Todd (the darlings of Yelp Tampa Bay), had been to Chapel Hats earlier in the year, and posted some very fun photos while they tried on hats in the shop. I had to add this place into my bookmarks, based solely on the photo of Todd wearing the furry animal thingie on his head! The first thing that you'll notice when walking into their shop, is that everyone is laughing and clowning around as they try on hats. No matter what your style, from simple baseball hats, to Presidential top hats, to the "Kentucky Derby special", Chapel Hats likely has what you're looking for, and they encourage you to try them on and look at yourself in the mirror. "Take pictures, pose with your friends, pose with the shop clerks -- have fun!" I was shopping for a basic fedora to use in my 1920's gangster era costume, but quickly found myself trying on all of these fabulous steampunk leather top hats, decorated with chain and bits of metal. Wow, you could build an entire Halloween costume around this one accessory. They had bowlers, fedoras, cowboy hats, Havana straw hats, berets and more.....and that's just on the men's side of the shop. On the women's side they had all kinds of big-brimmed floppy hats, and some serious pinkies-up, high fashion chapeaus that would be perfect for afternoon tea with the ladies in Atlanta. I was able to find the type of fedora that would have made James Cagney proud, and so I declared my stop at Chapel Hats a big success. If you're in need of a simple head covering to beat the Florida sunshine, or something a bit more stylish for a special event, then be sure to add Chapel Hats to your list of places to visit in Walt Disney World.

We have had a few in mind, but can't seem to get one because their prices for shipping are robbery! First, let's start with the $5 sale visor. That is $5 shipping. And the $12 regular price visor is also $5 shipping. Seriously?!? I have gotten free shipping on an $11 order before, so my friends called and tried to do the same. Well, when one of my friends called me back and told about the customer service lady who said, " Well, I'm sorry for you and that's your choice," after she said she would be placing and or because or the shipping prices. I knew it was Beth!! Beth is soo rude and condescending. There is no place for this in a retail/online business!! Or at least, that's what happened to me in my marriage. My husband is a die hard Magic fan, probably since birth and since Montreal doesn't have a basketball team, I was like (meh) sure *shrug*! It keeps the house in harmony. The things you do for love LOL. But, don't worry, it's all good. I've got hockey covered. Go, Habs, go! After spending some time at Lake Eola Park, my husband took us to the Orlando Magic Team Shop (OMTS) to look around and see if there were some things we liked. - Parking - It was mid-afternoon on a Friday and there was street parking right in front and it was free! - Vibe - Located at the corner inside the Amway Center (and for you non-Magic fans, it's their home arena), if you can't find the fan gear you're looking for, for the Orlando Magic here, I don't know where else you are going to find it! I found the store layout to be a little awkward, more specifically the back section where there is a door that connects to the arena. It was pretty narrow and full of merchandise with a cash register right next to the door. I can't imagine what a bottleneck it must be on game day. - TLC - We were greeted upon arrival and there were at least 3 employees working and they were pretty chill. They stayed behind the counter in the main cash register area for the duration of our visit while patrons were coming and going. - My thoughts - Like I said, whether you are a seasoned fan or you just joined the club, there is a section for every person or thing, furry or not, in your fan club. Men, women, kids, babies and fur babies, you name it, they have it. The selection was quite extensive in each category too. They even swapped out the blue team colors to pink for the little girls. I personally like the blue better though. They had the cutest things for the little babies like full track suit, onesies, branded binkies, sippy cups and Mickey & blanket combo. Lots of Stuff merchandise too and for non-fans, it's the Orlando Magic's mascot, Stuff, the Magic Dragon haha. I always thought that that was so clever. My only thing with the store were the prices! But I guess since I am a fan by marriage, I don't understand the full value of the investment? T-shirts were reasonable, but there were some polo shirts that were priced at over $150 dollars and I wondered if Nikola Vucevic had made it himself. The shirts really weren't anything special. For that price, at the very least, I would expect embroidered logos or something? All in all, it was fun browsing the store and checking out the variety of Magic merchandise available. We can't really find any Magic merchandise in abundance outside of FL, so we make it a point to visit whenever we are in town and pick up another item to sport for the season, now that we live this close.
