I had a Cabelas credit card that had over $160 in earned points that I did not spend. I had not…read moreused the card in a bit. They claim they sent me a cancellation letter in August that I never recieved. They cancelled my card on December 19th and took away my points that were the same as money in Cabelas. I did not receive that cancellation letter until mid January. They just took away the money that I earned using their card. I called the credit department and they told me they could not give me back my points or reopen my card that was dated to expire on 03/29. How can you take away something that someone earned? They should have sent me a gift card to Cabelas for the points that I earned instead of keeping my money. I do not consider this good business!
