I had a complicated situation involving CPS where dad was able to obtain full custody of the child,…read moredespite his history, habits, and no due diligence on the county's part. We had to try twice to get the child back, once the CPS case closed. The first time, the judge was new and hesitant to flip custody. However, Dushawn fought and was able to get it back to 50/50 with weekend visits. The second time, with the child's testimony, he felt it was a good idea to pursue a restraining order instead. He became both my advocate and my child's, at this point. He was able to convince dad to do a custody modification (including to dad get the help he needed too) and we closed the restraining order. After nearly a year and a half of fighting, my child was safe and home. The system failed him, but Dushawn didn't! For this, I am extremely grateful for him and everything he has did. He did not over charge, either. I probably underpaid him, honestly. I definitely recommend him and will only go back to him. My advise is to open up with him.
