I went in for a scheduled 10:00 therapy session. I was called back at 10:38. Prior to my appointment I was very clear that I have a very tight schedule and a hard stop for 11:00 am. Additionally, I expressed the treatment I was agreeable to prior to my appointment and the reasons why. Instead I was greeted by Dr. Derek with another sales pitch. I get very turned off by sales pitches. I don't believe it is patient centered. I'm mindful of my time and expect others to be as well. As a practitioner I don't recommend multiple interventions to my clients because it is important to measure the effectiveness of one. The office was very chaotic. I associate wellness with calmness. I don't know if I have ever experienced anything like this before. I lost valuable time from my work and being in pain did not help the matter. I believe in the practice of efficiency and respect when dealing with clients. The wellness center is lacking in both areas. I am a researcher and practitioner who is not sold on anything offered in the moment. The push to sell me something I was told about a minute in my conversation with Dr. Derek was alarming. My decision making process is not impulsive. It is aligned to the best practices supported by research. I also have excellent insurance. Prior to my visit I confirmed what my insurance would pay for because of my medical history only for Dr. Derek to add it to the $6000 treatment package. I did not accept the package. I was given a 10 minute PEMF session in a small less than comfortable room with other patients. This is an absolute no for me. I rather pay for treatments at a place where I sense authenticity from the doctor and where my time is respected. read more

In sum, costly treatments did not provide any significant or lasting relief for my pain. I have suffered with low back and leg pain for many years. Numerous courses of PT, injections, and surgery have not fixed the problem. So I was highly encouraged when listening to one of Dr. Derek Bruno's talks about alternative treatments. At my first visit, Dr. Bruno & an assistant tested my feet & legs and quickly diagnosed neuropathy & plantar fasciitis. Although I provided results from a recent MRI & x-ray of my back, the doctor did not seem all that interested in further discussing my back & leg issues. We quickly moved on to reviewing the $6,000 contract for 16 treatment sessions. With few other options for relief, I agreed to try the treatments: decompression, magna wave, & shock wave therapies. The decompression therapy was not administered consistently (3 different apparatus depending on which was available for use). It sometimes resulted in upper back pain the next day. The magna wave therapy did not seem to do anything at all. The shockwave therapy was first administered to my feet. I thought this was strange, but I went along (maybe the doctor was treating the plantar fasciitis I didn't know I had?). It resulted in severe cramping in my calves the next day. Once the therapy was applied to my back & upper leg, it provided some temporary relief (2-3 days). The office is extremely busy. Although the staff is very kind & friendly, they are often rushed & sometimes confused about care due to the high volume of patients. It was also difficult to get Dr. Bruno's attention as he is always rushing from patient to patient. In spite of granting me several extra visits at no additional cost, my overall experience did not provide the relief I sought. We tried chiropractic adjustments with little long term benefit. Since the contract specifies "no guarantee" that treatments will work, I'm now saddled with a monthly payment until the $6k is paid off. read more

I have very bad neuropathy due to chemo and was sent the Libman wellness center ad from my sister-in-law. I called the center and they had to make an appointment to do a 15 minute review over the phone. I review and was charged a $79 consultation fee for my appointment which was scheduled for today for an hour and a half once there I filled out all the paperwork went back and met with Dr. Justin who went over but then told me that insurance does not cover anything during my phone consult I asked if insurance covers their services and was told after my one and a half hour review assessment they would give me a full benefits exam to let me know what can be covered. I also checked with Medicare and some situations they do cover treatment for neuropathy. But before we even gotten anywhere, I was told that they do not cover it and they do have great finance plans. My problem with this is I would not have made a 45 minute drive in the pouring rain if I've been told upfront on the phone when I asked the question that insurance will not cover this. Just buy or beware if you have insurance and are expecting treatment to be covered, it will not. read more

They have a lot if gizmos they use that cannot be documented as effective. They host meal seminars to get clients and the incentive is sign now for a reduced price plan. One if the therapists does some crazy channeling then uses the power if suggestion to maje you think you feel better. They ask in general if you feel improvement and get cranky if you say you feel no improvement. read more

I have been in great pain for over a year from Neuropathy, every day was worst than the last and nothing was working. My hands were useless and my feet were pain full to walk on. So, out of desperation and with great reserve, I decided to try the chiropractic approach. I found Dr. D. Bruno and the 1st couple of weeks there was little difference, but he listened to me and the staff was extremely nice and helpful, so I kept going. My Father has been having Knee issues for some time now. Also being a Top 2 diabetic with Neuropathy didn't help. I took him to see Dr Jessie, not only did they fix his knees , they got his sugar under control (diet was main factor) and helped his Neuropathy. He now no longer has Knee pain (He was told he was bone on bone and would need both replaced). And while the Nueropathy isnt completely gone its about 70% better. DO NOT GO THERE FOR ANY BACK PROBLEMS!!! You will be worse off than when you started because of their decompression machines. I went there in March for right side sciatica pain. I was in extreme pain following a visit in April, 2022 in the area of my left abdominal rib cage and left foot. Mind you, I did not have any issues prior with either area. Be aware that if you are elderly, no one will monitor you and the machines do not have a shut off switch if you run into trouble. Calling out being masked and lying face down doesn't allow anyone to hear you. I've been to 2 specialist since then had x-rays taken and twice to my PCP because of this on going problem. It is now July and I'm still in pain. This "Wellness" Center does not care. It's just a revolving door, money making operation where they pass off unmarked, unlabeled potions for pain and expect you to use them as often as you like only knowing the product contains cannabis, source unknown. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Even the Better Business Bureau doesn't have their name in their data base. I'm out $2,400 and sorry I ever went. read more

I gave in one star. They charged me and my insurance mostley me over 7400.00 with no success. Then they had the gall to say come back and we are getting a new machine we think will work. So I go only to discover that the 3 hour relief was less than 3 min. and they said we can work with you for just a few more hundred. They aint getting another dime from me. Phenomenal treatments and staff! They provide the best and most successful treatments I have found for the persistent widespread pain of Fibromyalgia, neuropathy and chronic spinal issues from bulging discs and pinched nerves. I have found their techniques to be the most gentle, effective and provide the longest relief of pain and stiffness, without the side effects of prescription medications. I was given a flu shot in my shoulder instead of my arm. It caused immediate and unrelenting pain. I went to Rothman and U of Penn and neither could cure my pain. I tried physical therapy and cortisone shots and nothing worked. I suffered for months until I went to Dr. Liebman. He did some tests and diagnosed that the shot damaged a nerve. He started cold laser therapy on my shoulder and within a few visits I started to have relief from the constant pain. I continue to have pain with certain movements, but am so relieved it is not 24/7. I can actually participate in my life again. Growing up with chiropractic [my late grandfather was a chiropractor],I have great faith in it.I signed up hoping to prevent or delay the need for a total knee replacement.As a RN greater than 20 years,some of the treatment modalities made little medical sense given the short period of time they were used,I deeply regret getting $5000.00 in debt.When I mentioned that the improvement was minimal;they "gave" me 3 more treatment sessions then wanted me to agree to an ADDITIONAL $3000.00 "plan".My 15 sessions worked out to roughly $335.00 per visit.If you don't continue going ad infinitum, the treatment's effects/benefits do not last. The care credit "interest free" is for a finite period of time-if you pay the suggested amount,the interest will accrue long before the balance is paid off.Although every member of the staff are pleasant and friendly,I found none of them able to explain the physiology of each treatment and why it "works";it just is not medically logical to expect some device used 5 or 6 times to improve a chronic condition.You could achieve similar,even superior relief having a weekly legitimate massage for far less expense and at least get one hour treatment.Now I am trying to triple the care credit monthly payment or ,with interest,I've wasted close to $6000.00 that I can't afford.I'll be working beyond when I had hoped to retire in order to pay it off-FYI-my insurance paid a part of it and it's still that high.Definitely NOT worth the money read more

I'm sure Dr. Liebman is an excellent Chiropractor unfortunately I had his associate Dr. Derek. I should have been on guard when Dr. Derek asked for my credit card information as he would bill my card if I didn't make the appointment. After my initial evaluation I was given a cost of over $6,ooo for 27 visits (to be paid in full). Since I didn't have that amount available I gave $1,000 as I wanted to get started (and was sucked into the sales pitch). I was to be given special socks and appointments to cover the deposit. After my second visit he asked about the balance and indicated I wouldn't receive the socks until balance paid in full. This was contrary to what I was told during the sales pitch. I started to lose confidence when he became more concerned with getting the additional funds and not as concerned about curing the pain I was in. On December 16th, I sent a note with a self-addressed stamped envelope asking to receive an accounting and any refund I may be owed. Today is January 4th, and have not received a reply. I post this so others can go in with eyes wide open knowing this is a chiropractic office with a well honed sales presentation. read more
