I don't even want to give them one star due to the fact that they are so rude and call people liars, but this will not post if I don't. When I have proof on camera that trash bins have been set out for pickup. They have not picked up our yard waste for more than six weeks stating it was our fault. The worst customer service experience that resulted in being hung up on twice then the third phone call wasn't answered and I was put on permit hold, he would not give me his name and stated that he was a supervisor and that there was nothing I could do about the way he was talking to me. read more

Absolutely terrible, the service has went downhill since we started using them a year and a half ago. This is the second week in a row They did not pick up my trash although they did everyone else's in the neighborhood then when you call they act like you're stupid and then blame each other and will charge you an extra $15 and say they will come out the next day and then not show up then either. We have been using this company for years and they have been wonderful! People that we know who switched from them are now saying they wished they had stayed with them. They have a hard enough job, taking care of all the houses in all kinds of weather. I have seen were people just pile a lot of empty boxes up, busted open trash bags and expect them to take care of it for them. We did not choose Lies. Our leasing company for our house did. Unfortunately we have had several issues with trash not getting picked up, being given a recycling bin but they didn't pick it up in Nov and Dec and never credited our account. They've now billed us for months we are not renting the home and they're not willing to make the correction. I called to speak to them about this and the guy that answered the call was very smart mouthed with me and refused to be helpful in anyway. He also said I should have asked for a credit for Nov and Dec already and I explained I did in Dec and January. Due to them not billing except every 3 months I would have to wait 2 billing cycles to see it. It was never credited. He claims they credited the account a dollar. 1 dollar for months? I think not. This is not the first time that guy has answered the phone. I've spoken to him before and he has always been rude. The trash guys that come by are always so friendly and helpful but the people in the office need to find another line of work. Customer service is not great at all. read more

They still billed me for three months and told me I had to keep the service for three months and refused to refund any of my money read more

Lies has and trash more than once. We took our trash out the night before (Tuesday this week) and they didn't come; last year they didn't come after skipping a week due to a snow storm (we get the delay, but they didn't make it up). Our recycling was out this Tuesday night and even called the day of recycling (yesterday) to see if we were skipped and she said, "no, they were going slow because of the weather" On the phone JUST NOW she says, "well they actually came by really early and said it wasn't out there and it's noted on your account..." Wasn't yesterday when I called though. Hmm Lady on the phone was rude ah too. Like, as soon as she answered like I was an inconvenience for her having to do her job. Lies, lies. read more

These people have no customer service or common sense, I live at the top of a cul-de-sac they picked up on they way down and my trash wasn't at the street yet, by the time they turned around to come back up the street I was standing there with my trash for them to pick up. instead of picking up my trash, they honk and wave and drive by. When I called the office they said they would have them turn around and get it by the end of day or the next day. no one showed up, so I call the office again and talked to someone different and was told if the trash isn't out by the first pass then it's marked as no trash to pick up & they don't stop on the second pass. And it would be $15 dollar's extra to pick up the following day and they had no record of it being scheduled for next day pick up even though I was told it would be with no extra pay. I was given nothing but attitude and now told to wait until next week and make sure my trash is out by 6am. read more

Zero Stars: I still have not received a refund for when they stole the dumpster early in retaliation for reporting them to the BBC. Absolutely zero communication from this company. Lies used to be great but their customer service, reliability and the ability to provide the service you pay for is non existent. Unfortunate for a company that USED to care about their clients. Service works out when you pay them. However when it comes time to move away and you go to cancel, they will say "okay" and then continue to bill you and say you never cancelled because they didn't give you any valid confirmation number, even though you have the call log to prove it. They pronounce the company as "Lees" but it should definitely be pronounced as its spelled, Lies. And don't bother asking for a manager as it goes straight to the owner and they know how they run their company. No matter what conversation or situation you describe to them, they will make themselves look ugly for $25 and then pull the "we will also charge $50 if we can't access your trashcan for pickup". Been in Blue Springs for almost 30 years now and been thru many trash services. Lie's is the best. Considerate in how they leave your empty bins, considerate and timely when you have a special request, friendly on the phone as well. In short, they seem to actually care about their customers. read more

This company will skip picking up your trash even though your trash is paid. When called they said it would be $15 charge because the driver failed to look at his route and it was not they're fault. This has happen on two occasions. read more

They pronounce it "LEE'S" :) I have had ZERO issues with my switch to Lies Trash Service. We've had them many months now and I haven't had my trash ignored once. A huge portion of people in my neighborhood had them, so when I'd had all of the rotten service of AAA (who would pick up our trash willy nilly and has the absolute WORST customer service I've ever had) I could stand, I called them. Lies were professional and have kept their service as awesome as day one. Their pickups are timely and their drivers/pick up guys are dedicated to excellent service. I really appreciate their quality service and have recommend them every chance I get. read more

I recently moved to the area and set up service with Lies. I had my trash picked up only ONCE. and that was two days after the scheduled time and only because I finally called and complained. I had sent a email prior with zero response. I was patient and tried to let it go, (I am familiar with how these companies work, my husband was an operations manager for a waste company before we made the move to Missouri , so I know how slip ups can happen in a new route. This was just pure incompetence and laziness. The only reason they even got one star was for the person I talked to the first time that sent someone out to pick it up the one time, and the manager that I just asked to speak to because the employee I dealt with when wanting to cancel the service kept interrupting me when I was talking and then had the nerve to tell me I was being rude when I cut her off saying I'm not looking for a solution. I want my service canceled now. I am not someone to leave a review, but this place definitely warrants one. read more
