I recently moved to a new apartment and was considering hiring a cleaning service to clean my old apt. I had never done so before and wasn't sure if it was worth the money. I had a large (moderately soiled from normal wear and tear) two-bedroom apt. (with a total of five rooms) that I had resided in. for 10+ years. I didn't want to spend countless hours scrubbing because I had to focus on packing. I did a simple google search and found Life Maid Easy (LME). They were the closet one to me in Mt. Airy near my old apt. in Germantown. I had given them very short notice because I decided at the last minute, but they were able to schedule an appt. for the very next day. Customer Service Consultant, Ashlee responded to my emails in a timely manner and answered all my questions. LME's prices are reasonable, and their employees are very good at their job and have great attention to detail. Additionally, they are very cordial and in great spirits. They offer several different services based on your budget and how extensive a cleaning you desire. I chose the most thorough option: the Deluxe Deep Clean with a couple add-on services (incl. windows). My unit had 16 windows and I was able to get a fair price. I thought I may face some resentment based on faith/non-faith (as I have had some discrimination from other businesses in the past), but everyone was very open-minded and respectful. While my old apt. wasn't too bad, the oven in particularly had noticeable grease build up. But upon completion I could almost see my image off it, and it wasn't even a reflective surface! Rachel & Albina did a super superb job. The apartment had a great many surface areas but that didn't dissuade them at all. It's almost as if they had too much fun cleaning. Normally, I would not have been present during the cleaning (to stay out of their way), but I had to complete packing while they worked. They were very friendly and good conversationalists as well. They even worked around me while I continued to pack. My windows were so clean I'm a little concerned birds might fly into them. Overall, I am extremely satisfied and had better service from LME than almost any other business I have worked with. I would give them 6 out of 5 stars but Yelp only lets you rate them with 5. I also found it convenient that they accept credit cards and Venmo. You can tip on the card when you pay your invoice, or you can tip the employees directly via Venmo (and of course good ol' cash.) I can't wait to make a mess in my new apt. so I can hire them again to work their magic. GREAT JOB GALS!!! If you need cleaning service, hire Life Maid Easy. Having used cleaning companies in my business for 20 years, and even spending a few years with my own cleaning company to control the quality, I am in a good postition to compare. This company is overpriced and under-delivers. I was prepared to "over pay" to finally get a thorough cleaning. Instead, I had to issue the tenants a credit so they could clean what was left unfinished. I was very disappointed in the end results and in the owner's refusal to correct the situation. A credit was offered to me but, since I am in no position to give them a second chance, a credit is worthless. I'd rather go back to paying for shoddy work at half the price. At least I'll get what I paid for. Almost $300 for a small 1BR with a long list of what they wouldn't clean, I had to provide the floor product, and they didn't do everything on their list of what they claimed they would do. For anyone thinking maybe I am too picky...a layer of drywall dust from the repairs that occurred first was still on the counter. How do you miss that?! read more

I was blessed to find this company yesterday online. Due to some health issues I needed some assistance with cleaning my home. I called and spoke with Ashley who was amazing. She was able to get me scheduled for the next day. The cleaner that they sent was Amena and Alina who was extremely wonderful. I had some emergency come up while the team was here workin but they were very professional and worked around all the termoil. These two ladies was the sweetest and their Work was exceptional.
