Highly recommend pre and post pandemic! I have had reliable, excellent service with this company for over 5 years, which is why I am happy to write this detailed review. They have cleaned my rental property within the specific time period of "rental turnover" and have never let me down. That reliability is huge!! I am usually at the house when they are cleaning, and afterwards, they want me to check and make sure everything looks the way I want it to. (They know I am picky about how beds are made, how things are arranged, and wood floors are done!) For the very few times I may have pointed out small things, they are quick to get it done. They know I want the house to sparkle, and the reviews on the rental website comment on how clean the house is. If I am not there, I have confidence that I can send an email to Heather ahead of time with instructions, and it gets done. They also have someone available to check on the work afterward, but I am not sure if that is random or scheduled. This year, as with so many other businesses, Heather communicated with me well in advance about not being able to find enough staff for Saturdays. I have never had a problem with communication to either Heather (or Kate, the owner), and am mentioning this due to the negative post. I have also not had a problem with email communication. I would agree there has been a lot of turnover since the pandemic, let's face it, this is not an easy, glamorous, or high paying job! Like many companies right now, trying to find employees willing to work is challenging. However, Kate and Heather are committed to having cleaning teams that combine experienced staff with newer staff, and also try to send a team that at least one person knows the house. They also give incentives to the staff for a job well done, and want customers to let them know how to improve. Did I mention this is a woman-owned company? This week, Cheri, Kellie, and Rae cleaned both houses and were on time, courteous, professional...not to mention did a great job. They are upbeat and smiling, almost all the time, and I appreciate that they seem to like their job and get satisfaction out of making a house look spectacular! The website makes it easy to add or delete specific areas like oven, windows, woodwork, inside cabinets, walls, etc. So each week you can decide what may or may not need extra attention. As busy parents of 2 young children, my husband and I do not always have time to work full time, clean our house and keep up with other daily duties. We decided to look for a home cleaning service and came across Life Maid Simple and decided to give them a try. Their website was easy to navigate and making an appointment was easy. The standard cleaning package also allows upgrades if specific areas of your home needed additional attention. Our bathrooms needed a good sanitization and a good cleaning, so we opted to upgrade the services in the bathroom. The 2 team members ( Cassie and Lakin) arrived within the window of time provided and after introducing themselves got right to work. They were very professional and answered any questions we had. The team brought their own cleaning supplies including a HEPA vacuum. The team did stay past the estimated service time, but they were working quite hard to make sure everything was up to the quality of service the company stands by. Overall, we were extremely happy we decided to try them and our bathrooms haven't looked this good since we moved into our home. A major bonus is this allowed us to spend more time with my children. Our house was in sore need of a professional cleaning so, after doing some research on line and asking around, we decided to try Life Maid Simple. I appreciated the ease of being able to book on line and get a quote without the hassle of an in home visit with accompanying sales pitch/pressure. Communication leading up to the visit was excellent. The team, Cheri, Tammy, and Jocelyn, were prompt, courteous, respectful of everything in the house while cleaning, efficient, and thorough. Everywhere they worked looked fantastic after they were finished. I have been getting my house cleaned bi-monthly by Life Maid Simple for about 8 months now and I'm so pleased with their services. They are reliable and punctual, but more importantly, Lakin, Serena and Cassie do a phenomenal job! I've had other cleaning services in the past and these three are by far the best I've ever had. Scheduling is online/text reminders/alerts-always know when a cleaning is happening and when Halie and crew will be at our house.
