The parents aren't allowed to be in the room with them while they rehearse because they want the performance to be a surprise in the end. There is a screen that flips from room to room so that parents can see their child, but there is not a lot of seating out in the lobby. If you have short errands to run or want to gather your thoughts, this is a perfect time to do so, other wise you're just sitting and waiting. After the class the teacher comes out and gives a brief review of how your child did that day. They are very polite and courteous.

I had been calling the number on weekdays for a few months, and never got hold of anyone. I would give a zero if I could!

One third of that test was over stuff we did not go over in class. Causing me to fail the first time I took it & then I had to pay the fee a second time if I wanted to take it again. I barley passed the second time, cuz while I did know some of the correct answers cuz I found the information myself, there was still a lot on the certification test that I couldn't answer correctly cuz I wasn't educated on it.

I took classes from Priya (the owner/instructor) for a few months and I had so much fun. She takes her time to make sure you get the posture and understand the hand positions. My favorite part was being able to express feelings through facial expressions. Priya teaches other classical and folk stye (even Bollywood) Indian dance for anyone who would like to learn from ages five and up. Adults also! Another thing I enjoyed are the stories about each position in the dance. It gave me a better understanding of the culture and language. The cost of her classes are very reasonable and she generally offers them after normal work hours allowing the eight- to-fivers to be able to participate or get the young learners in as well. She and her dancers are featured in many performances around the Tulsa area and she also has plays during the Summer Stage at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center.
