I was nervous and exhausted; I don't know what I was thinking making an early 8:30 am appointment. However, upon arrival I was warmly greeted by Mr. Herb himself and all my worries melted away to the ease of listening to his honeyed voice. He kindly advised me on what posture and pose would be most advantageous to my portrait. He kindly offered me a steaming cup of coffee and then showed me the hot seat! What's most important is that he made me feel completely at ease and comfortable. His studio was neat and inviting with an array of beautiful photography he's taking over his career. I had brought two outfits to wear during my photo shoot which was to be the head shoot for my real estate career. He worked quickly and diligently; slightly correcting my pose explaining that a long neck and dropped shoulders were the way to go. Even though it was still the wee hours of the morning Mr. Herb was able to coax a terrific smile from me every time even some sultry looks to add to my portfolio of photos! Every photo seemed effortless and happy! Nothing at all like those school photographers we are all used to; when in the back of our mind we are pleading with a greater force that you may appear at your best. That is simply not the case at Herb Booth photography; you're comfortable and have that unmistakably familiar feeling that you will be looking you utmost best in your executive portrait. After the photo session; the next nightmare sitting down and judging your own face! Again, Mr. Herb was more that helpful. He guided me with his artistic experience to help me pick the most perfect two photos out of about 200 hundred that he had taken. And the most brilliant part of this was it only took a few minutes. I had the pleasure of being a bridesmaid this weekend at Heavenly Farms. The bride and groom chose…read morea beautiful location with some of the kindest hosts I've ever met. The location is easily located via gps and is mainly long stretches on the same two roads before arriving. The driveway is lovely and secluded with ponds to look at on the short drive up to the venue location. The barn, main house and bridal suite are set back perfectly. They are grand but still inviting. You can tell that time went into decorating this venue because no detail was spared. From family bibles and photos of a wedding, to wedding dresses of the brides in the family- you feel like family and warmly welcomed. The owners were so warm, kind and accommodating. There is a large tree on the property that was perfect for the ceremony portion of the wedding. The grounds have plenty of room for tents to be set up for a lovely reception as well. This is a well thought out venue for a perfect outdoor wedding. My ONLY warning is - you must love animals. Luckily, we all adore them and we're so happy to see cats, large dogs(kept inside the main house and were quiet the whole time) and horses. They even allowed our bride to take some photos near one of their gentle horses. You will NOT be disappointed with this location or family. They were a blessing and made the whole event so spectacular for my best friend!
