I cannot imagine her pain nor could I imagine going through this myself. I have thought for years that I needed to learn CPR, not just because it's the responsible adult thing to do but also for the sake of my loved ones. So, for my boyfriend's birthday this year I decided to get the two of us certified in CPR, AED and First Aid. We took the class this past weekend. I know it doesn't exactly sound like the "fun" thing to do for someone's birthday but our instructor Kurt made the class not only worthwhile but very amusing. "People will remember so much more of what they are learning if they are enjoying themselves." That is a direct quote from Kurt, our instructor. The process was smooth to sign up. Shawn, the owner answered my emails promptly and courteously. The fee for the class was in the same price range as the other classes I looked up. I chose to go with CPR Florida because they offered weekend classes and the class location was 7 minutes from our house. I would encourage everyone to educate themselves with the simple lifesaving skills of CPR. I would also recommend taking your classes with the very funny but informative Kurt. CPR Florida gets 5 thumbs up from me and my boyfriend. We even received our American Heart Association certification ecards the very same day and they had free snacks and drinks too. Amazing. Thank you CPR Florida! I will be back in a few years for a renewal class.

After driving 40 minutes, we spent about an hour waiting while the class was being set up, followed by another hour of lecture--only to then be told we would not be able to complete certification. As a result, I was not given the opportunity to finish or receive certification. This appears to have been a planning and communication issue, and it resulted in a complete waste of time. I will now need to find another provider and start over. I would recommend confirming capacity, materials, and eligibility in advance before attending.

These racist showed NO COMPASSION AT ALL they didn't even care...it's like they was stalling waiting on my husband to DIE it took over 10 minutes to get to him.They kept stalling and sat at the corner with no siren on taking their time. They knew exactly what they was doing. Not to mention the younger guy that was NASTY very obvious he don't like blacks. I can tell they been getting away with this behavior for a long time. One guy picked my husband arm up and drop it like he was NOTHING and said he's dead! They took their time doing CPR and giving meds.
