After driving 40 minutes, we spent about an hour waiting while the class was being set up, followed by another hour of lecture--only to then be told we would not be able to complete certification. As a result, I was not given the opportunity to finish or receive certification. This appears to have been a planning and communication issue, and it resulted in a complete waste of time. I will now need to find another provider and start over. I would recommend confirming capacity, materials, and eligibility in advance before attending.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, when many nursing schools faced significant challenges, my school excelled by adding numerous extra virtual programs at their own expense in addition to the mandatory classes. The program lasts two years, and the comprehensive exam is rigorous. After passing my comprehensive exam, I took the NCLEX and passed on my first attempt. In my final semester, the school offered numerous additional classes to help us prepare for the NCLEX at no extra cost. I obtained my Florida license in 2023 and my California license in 2024. My imagination of the Miami metropolitan area was always very much so a dreamy one, and graduating from the school was symbolic to my love of this unique part of America. Nothing but good memories of South Florida! I got my Florida license in August, and after only 10 days, the license was fully endorsed to California, much to my amazement by how fast the whole process was considering that it usually takes at least 1 month from what I heard. If you give it your all in this program, you will succeed. Don't make excuses for your shortcomings, take accountability for the grades you receive and just keep trying. Come to class with the right attitude and mindset because Professor Chancy really strives to ensure you understand the curriculum thus you will only pass if you match her efforts, it is only fair. RN school is NOT easy, especially if you're working full time. But again, it's all willpower that makes it possible. She provided hands on exercises to help us grasp concepts. We were able to ask questions and received clear and specific responses. The training pace was appropriate for the hour. Our training was held in a conference room [which I assumed was donated space] in an office building. There was a bit of a snafu if the building was unlocked for attendees to enter which caused the training session to start late; however, our trainer didn't rush us through the session. The training costed $10.00 per person but well worth every penny. I would certainly recommend this training to anyone - parents, team of employees, concerned individuals. I would suggest handouts for attendees.
