My experience was nothing like this at all. My photo was done with a laptop on a couch while a woman was changing her clothes in the same space, chatting with the Dr. while she tried to get her software to work. My photo looked like a mugshot. Not clear and not even printed, it emailed me some autogenerated report based on the color and that was interesting, but super generic. She rushed me in and out because she was able to squeeze me in between appointments, but I would have rather waited and had a valuable experience. My husband was with me and couldn't believe this is what I wanted for my present. We both laughed. It was almost comical how bad it was and I guess it was $50 and maybe the nicer looking ones are more expensive but you get an actual commemorative photo. My poor husband was like she has great reviews and her front door says award winning...I guess that doesn't always translate to every area of her business and I'm guessing the aura photos is not a big component since it all felt like an afterthought. I went to my first visit, the Rockstar Reading, skeptical of course, as is my nature. She went through my chakras and the blocks she saw (all were right on!). That started the beginning of the biggest change in my life so far. Funny thing is I didn't even know the change was coming at the time of my first meeting! It's been a year and I can't believe the progress I have made...it's truly amazing. I went in for my very first 60 minute Reiki appointment a couple weeks ago to deal with some stress due to drastic life changes. I have been feeling jumpy and "on-edge" for a while and needed some additional help/direction to provide relief. The space was incredibly cozy and all around felt good to be in. Immediately after meeting Marie, I knew she was a right fit. I appreciated her natural ability to make me feel right at home in a new space. The treatment itself was amazing. Having had smaller Reiki sessions before, I had an idea of what to expect, but during the full hour, I felt the tightness in my abdomen relax, and my breathing become easier. By the end of the hour, I was calm, glassy-eyed, and a little out of it (in a good way). I really feel that the treatment set the tone for how I coped with my stressors the following week. I didn't hold things in my body as much and felt calmer. Because I work in the health industry, I decided to also do a one-on-one Reiki training with Marie as well. I am still blown away by her kindness during the class. Not only did I receive amazing information and training, but the materials she gave me to study were very organized and well put together. I have had the pleasure of experiencing Callie's hands-on healing reiki sessions this past week. I…read morehave never really had a reiki session before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Callie encouraged me to set an intention around the session around what I wanted to focus on. My focus for the session was around sleep and improving my sleep when spending the night at my boyfriend's (which I have been having issues with not sleeping restfully). We began the session and Callie would place her hands on each of my chakra centers, started at the bottom. I felt so safe in her presence and immediately felt the healing energy between us from the heat that was building where she placed her hands. During the reiki session I reached an extremely relaxed meditative state in which I was able to receive messages from spirit and get some real clarity around the sleep issue I'd been experiencing. I considered this information a huge puzzle piece to focus my healing efforts on outside of the session as well. I felt the energy and information come up as I my body was in such an open state with the help of Callie. We both shared our experiences after the session and she echoed back and confirmed the things I had been feeling and messages I was receiving.
