I was very impressed by an estate sale Bonnies Vintage conducted in July 2019. Everything seemed very reasonably priced AND it was very well organized. Though the sale was very busy, the crowd was managed very well. I chatted up most of Bonnie's crew and everyone was very personable and thoughtful, even though they were mobbed and the weather very hot. The second day was during a torrential downpour. Yes, I attended both days of the sale, because I lived close to it and the entire sale seemed pretty fun. I haven't been to estate sales for many years, but now i might start to attend Bonnies Vintage sales.

Sounds like a good idea right? Well Bonnie and team dont quite have it down. . .their MO is to haggle with buyers to get the highest price from them, to say things like "We are not giving this stuff away, we are selling it." and demand that buyers give them the price they asked for. But really what is the difference between $2.50 and $1.00, if it means that the buyer is going to walk away? The pricer tends to overprice things, people want garage sale prices so the ones who are interested try to bargain (the others just walk away) and Bonnie and team wont accept this. Unfortunately this means that you are you going to be out the $1,000 that you have to pay Bonnie and you wont sell half of your stuff so you'll have to pay to have it hauled to the Goodwill. Not the greatest predicament!

I was told we had 30 minutes to go over legal binding material. If that wasn't enough time I would have to reschedule. Granted this appointment was not last minute or told this ahead of time. My ex was hostile towards me and my guest. Then Tara tried to say I was hostile, when I was the calm one also the primary on the house we were sellin. I also wasn't offered any of the goodies they had on display on the way to the room. Since they had taken my ex in another room and taken up the appointment time. I had little time to go over it, and was asked to reschedule. Tara when we came back was hostile. When I polite asked if she had received my email about changes I found over the weekend. she responded that was it her or Jon I sent the email to. Since I figured that they both us it since I used the reply button. She retorted that I didn't even know who I was talking to. My guest was again asked to leave. which then I would fire them and go with another Title company. Tara then got ahold of Jon, who decided to go over the paperwork via zoom with us and Tara. I found that they had 10,000 less than was agreed to on the paperwork and other errors. When I told tara about the 10k she wanted proof. I had it but I shouldn't need proof. Who ever had changed the number should have needed to show proof. I would maybe work with Jon but def not Tara again. She tried to rush everything and I found many errors on the paperwork. I didn't have the same experience with Hudson Murphy when I bought the house. I would go with his team if you are looking.

He paid attention to exactly what I was looking for and needed in a home. We walked me through step by step from making an offer, to what happens after the offer is accepted. It's not all smooth sailing just because the house you wanted has been accepted! There's still processes like the house passing an inspection and if not, the seller meeting those guidelines to fix what didn't pass and meeting the deadline. It could be major or minor fixes BUT it was up to me if the house was worth keeping if the inspection didn't pass! He was very professional and cared about my thoughts and feelings about the homes we looked at. He made sure any concerns I had, he looked in to and got back to me with an answer. I couldn't made it through finding my first home with him! Thank you, Nene and the rest of your team at RnR Realty!!!

Nene Matey-Keke showed us tons of houses, gave great advice, and helped us close the deal from afar. He also loves the Twin Cities and always had a great recommendation for a restaurant or lake to take the kids to after a day of house-hunting. I'd recommend RNR Realty to anyone who wants a realtor who is helpful, kind, and knows the business well.
