I need the 2-Step test so a $40 payment for work sounds good to me instead of $60. I come in, it was busy so reception told me it will be about 40mins wait (which is probably longer anyway) so to come around 1:30pm since I had my baby with me. So I did. I waited an hour for the dr anyway... how convenient to be seen for not even 5mins. 3 days later I come in but only waited 10mins (so nice even though my baby wasn't with me this time). I was seen for 5mins again to do the reading and the Dr (a different one) told me that I had to pay $40. I told him what I was told over the phone and he apologized. Said that it's $20 for the injection, then $20 for reading since it's usually different Drs each time. I could've just went to a different location.. How could they mess this up? I do like how they have pillows in all their rooms and the sliding doors.

Alpha Laboratories opened up here just a couple of years ago when the plaza was developed. There are a lot of parking spots that get filled up quickly, but I've never had a problem finding a spot. The lab is fairly small inside. The waiting room seats several people, but it's not particularly useful since the wait is extremely short. I haven't seen more than 2 others waiting when I come by. When you walk in, they give you a slip with a number on it. On the other side is a sudoku puzzle to help pass the time. How thoughtful. However, I rarely have to wait longer than 10 minutes. This is a huge contrast to some of the more popular labs, like Life Labs. I've been to multiple Life Labs locations in the past and there's always a line out the door and the wait can be an hour or more. The phlebotomists here also work the front desk. They're both skilled and caring. They get the job done quickly. Alpha Labs is my go-to place for blood work because I value my time.

When I called HER back, she gave me incorrect contact information for the gynecologist I was referred to. I HAD TO GOOGLE THE GYNECOLOGIST MYSELF IN ORDER TO GET THE RIGHT INFORMATION. After calling Catchet Medical AGAIN to have them send the referral AGAIN, I decided to speak to the manager instead of the incompetent secretary who gave me incorrect information. While I EVENTUALLY got my request fulfilled, it took me well over 5 phone calls to get it done AND I had to do all the research myself. I will also add that the doctor secretary I dealt with couldn't even pronounce the medical terms properly - a MASSIVE issue considering that you work IN THE MEDICAL FIELD. Your company is absolutely incompetent and wasted the blood taken from me to be examined. Because of your Mickey Mouse operation I had to beg my doctor to call the hospital the blood was sent to to try and have them exam it or to at least send the specimen to another lab to examine. Thankfully my doctor, Dr. Leslie Goldenberg is extremely competent and capable in his field as was able to have the hospital transfer the blood to the correct lab. Unfortunately for me is that the correct lab doesn't recommend analyzing blood that is over 48 hours old. Now I have to go back and have my blood taken a second time in order for the proper lab to review it. So thank you Life Labs for wasting my time, my doctors time, the hospitals time and especially taking my blood from me and literally throwing it in the garbage when if anything it could have been used to save a life. Your business operation is terrible, incompetent and unreliable.
