The final step of the process is to go from the offices of ATCC Doctors at 4002 Sheppard Ave E to this lab located at 2330 Kennedy Rd across the street on the north west corner of the same intersection. Room 209 for LifeLabs was CLOSED at noon on New Years Eve so we're back today on 4-Jan-2021 only to find out that an appointment is required; next available time-slot is six hours from now. Ugh!!!! Back in six hours.... The wait and the blood & urine procedure for HIV along with Syphilis testing took 10 minutes. Fee: $34. Results were electronically transmitted to the ATTC case Physician. Overall, this part of the process was disjointed from the previous testing steps and should have been explained by ATTC Doctors. Yes, it's not totally the fault of LifeLabs. Staff at this lab are efficient, but notably rude; from the check-in person to the 2 other technicians. I would give LifeLabs 2 stars. They lose 1 star because they get daily referrals from ATTC Doctors and this lapse in a more streamlined customercentric process should not go unpublished.

About the parking situation: there is a paid parking lot for the building but Fairview Mall is right beside the medical building so it's possible to walk over from there. I walked up to the counter to let them know I was here for my appointment but there wasn't anyone there. Staff kept coming and going but no one stayed at the desk until I had waited close to 10 minutes. I inquired if I had to check in for my appointment and the woman, very rudely, told me of course I had to. Well, if there was someone there I could've checked in 10 minutes before. I could tell the staff were frazzled but that's no way to treat someone coming into the clinic. The other lady there took my health card and form from the doctor and let me know which cubicle to wait in. The man confirmed my name and birthdate, gave back my health card and then took the samples he needed to. I understand that clinics don't necessarily need stellar customer service but being polite will go a long way.

You could see they really care about their customers/patients. Even as my referring physician made an error on the orders, your team went above and beyond to follow up with an additional appointment and phone calls to that medical practice to get the error sorted. During each visit, the team at CCMSU Medical Imaging never ceased to amaze me with their talent and professionalism. From the moment I walked in, struggling through my physical pain, I was greeted with a smile and kindness from each front desk person to your medical staff, the entire experience was amazing. There are no words to thank them enough for all the kindnesses shown.

When I got to this specialist from suite 800 they claimed never got or have access to my x-rays and asked me to redo it at this place (this was supposed to be just an initial consultation!). I saw 3 front desk people not too busy working there but they let me wait in the line. The person I talked to was pretty rude. I was instantly taken back to 40 years ago Romania. Today in Canada you are treated as meat just like in Romania back then. Only the methods are different, no worries the government will pay. Free healthcare, what a joke

On my 3rd visit, she began to rush the time with me. She stood up, by the door, ready to leave, while I was still explaining my symptoms or asking a question. I tried to explain the same symptom multiple times in 2 visits but she didnt hear them in. She completely ignored it and tried to feed me with a feeling I didnt feel. It sucks to not able to find a patient doctor and given the Canadian system, it's hard to find doctors to accept new patients. So I guess I'll have to put up with it.

The reception staff have absolutely zero customer service skills (if you read the other reviews, it says that the staff are rude). But worse than being rude, they're just plain incompetent. My doctor said that someone from the office would call me regarding my referral request and they did not. When I called the office two weeks after my appointment to check on the status, the doctor's secretary hung up on me (fine, could just be a mistake) BUT SHE DID NOT CALL ME BACK. When I called HER back, she gave me incorrect contact information for the gynecologist I was referred to. I HAD TO GOOGLE THE GYNECOLOGIST MYSELF IN ORDER TO GET THE RIGHT INFORMATION. After calling Catchet Medical AGAIN to have them send the referral AGAIN, I decided to speak to the manager instead of the incompetent secretary who gave me incorrect information. While I EVENTUALLY got my request fulfilled, it took me well over 5 phone calls to get it done AND I had to do all the research myself. I will also add that the doctor secretary I dealt with couldn't even pronounce the medical terms properly - a MASSIVE issue considering that you work IN THE MEDICAL FIELD. This is LITERALLY just the tip of the iceberg in regards to the incompetence of the staff. This review is already long so I'll spare you my other experiences with them.

Dr introduced herself and soon I get the test and rest in the rest room. She is very kind and provides test result. I got a cold from the nurse that put needle to me . That afternoon I got running nose. The nurse has a cold and blow her nose. I think the place should have instruction if the nurse has cold should put on mask and sanitized their hands before touching the patient. Or she should not come to the clinic.
