I have a few health issues - Lupus SLE, neuropathy from above my knees down to my tippy toes and CPEO (Chronic Progressive External Ophthalmoplegia). I came to Robbie specifically for Neuropathy. Yet, he has helped me so much with it (please read below) and I feel like a new person with my eyes due to CPEO (please read below). CPEO: I lost over 70% movement in both my eye movement and have ptosis in my eyelids. I saw 3 neurologists and got two 2nd opinions. All 3 docs' consensus was that there was nothing more they could do for me and that I would need to learn how to look at things by turning my head/shoulder going forward. Robbie worked on my eyes and I am not kidding you, I am able to move my eyes ever so slightly and raise my eyelids-any slight improvement for someone like me is huge. Neuropathy: affects my lower extremities-constantly feeling cold, numb, stiff, and needle piercing pain at times. I wear toe warmers year round, even in the summer. Robbie has been working on the neuropathy and helping the numbness diminish from above my knees down to my ankles. He's also worked on lessening the stiffness. I don't know how he does what he does, but whatever he's doing has definitely helped me.

Recently we also had massage from Emily and she was very good. We did have a problem with billing. Initially, it was not handled well by front desk staff, and ended up causing extra work and headache for me. But after I contacted the office through email they helped me resolve the issue in a reasonable manner. They were able to explain exactly what the issue was, and give me steps to take towards a solution. They were very professional and kind in their communication.

About the massage therapist: 1) her hands were cold 2) she did not use enough pressure, even though I kept asking her to push harder 3) the music was very bad and distracting 4) I asked for whole body but she did not massage my arms and hands 5) she forgot to put out the arm rests for quite a while. Overall it was a pretty bad experience and I do feel like I wasted my time. Lesson learned to never cheat on my current massage therapist again.
