I've been a health enthusiast my whole life and have seen a good number of naturopaths. I'm happy to say that Dr. Brink is, in my opinion, one in a million! I initially saw him for colon irrigation, something I've always wanted to try - loved it! He gave me a book to read on the subject that really opened my eyes. Now I recommend it to everyone! I've also had a mysterious unproductive cough for about a year; my family doctor couldn't figure out the cause. Dr. Brink suggested a 30-day vegan detox cleanse and sold me a great little recipe book, too. He also gave me some very effective herbal supplements and, after two weeks, my cough is 90% gone and at the age of 57, I've never felt better. My wife suffered a massive cranial aneurysm in Jan, 2021, which blinded her in one eye, caused balance and gait issues, and some moderate cognitive confusion. She was hospitalized for a month, and subsequently developed an aggravating and painful case of pudendal neuralgia, which severely limited her ability to bend over and even put on her shoes. We spent thousands of dollars on expensive, out-of-network, cutting edge treatment which helped some, but not much. Dr. Brink indicated that he has been practicing acupuncture for over 42 years and encouraged me to bring her in. After the first two sessions, she noticed a dramatic decrease in pain and increase in mobility. I was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy July 4, 2019. I went through 3 rounds of steroids and antivirals to combat a 'virus' that no one could pinpoint or what 'caused' it. I underwent 6 weeks of physical therapy to alleviate the muscle spasms, face paralysis and weakness. None of this had any significant affect on my condition. My Dr. told me it would take time for the nerves to heal. In April 2020, I took it upon myself to seek a neurologist in hopes of getting some relief. His recommendation was Botox injections which have been found to be 90+ % effective in treating the condition. After completing my research, I found acupuncture is more effective and less invasive. I would actually highly suggest people go to this place if they have a health problem that seems to not be going away. I thought this place was a little sketchy at first, however, he immediately diagnosed me with something just by looking at me. I came to The Health Oasis today from the Dentist, where I had two fillings put in a back molar. Once the novocain wore off I was in serious pain, far worse than I have ever experienced.
