A well-attended event, supported by the community of all ages and colors, that didn't disappoint. The best part was seeing familiar faces from the Harrisburg community while enjoying some of my favorite gospel songs like "Oh When the Saints," "Hold On," and "Great Is Thy Faithfulness." It was a motivating hand-clapping experience.

There is a handbell choir, too, and the organ is relatively new and one of the best in the city. There is a committee called Arts on the Square that presents musical programs throughout the year with famous international performers and an Art Gallery with works of regional and local artists. The church is also known for its care and outreach to people who have no permanent home. Volunteers operate a food pantry, provide meals in front of the church on Friday nights, and they have a breakfast every Sunday morning with the help of other churches. No one is turned away. They also know every organization in town that can help with other needs. The also have committees trying to fight racism and pollution of the planet. If you want to be involved in these activities or support them with your presence, this is the church for you!

There's always something going on for everyone in the family. The only drawback is parking. The bar association permits use of the lot on the weekends and early mornings, but it's tight and not always available.
