It was a requirement for me to take a first aid and cpr course as part of my new job. Through organization of my company, we ended up going with lifesaver 101. Experience: I had Mo as my instructor. He admitted he was new to instructing but did very well. Most of his stories were "for instances" instead of real life examples, which I think would have been better. But he was very well spoken, and I understood all the information given to me. Location: it is located at dundas west and 427. I traveled from the east end, so it took me quite a while, but it was very close to the highway, and ttc. You have a lunch period and a couple breaks, and there are many fast food joints within walking distance. I didnt see anything super healthy, but also didnt look anything up....i went to harveys incase you were wondering. Venue: This venue is not handicap accessable. It is up a flight of stairs, and there was no visable elevator. The equipment all seems clean and up to date. Overall, this was a good experience, i would reccommend it if you need to take a first aid course. -gs27 read more

I had Mila as my instructor. She was new to instructing but did very well. We had an interactive and hands-on experience. She was very well spoken and made our training interesting and entertaining. She explained the material with many life experience examples and I understood all the information given to me. When I registered, I specifically told Chris that my son was already in an NLS course but he did not have the specified CPR course. We needed certification ASAP so he could continue in the program. Chris said no problem and signed us up. When the certification was presented to NLS instructor, we were told it was not recognized by the NLS. Chris would NOT refund my money. My son can not complete the NLS now and subsequently has lost out on a summer lifeguard position. I have also lost $236.00 for NLS course. Had Chris been up front and told me his course was not recognized by NLS, none of this would have happened. He was told at time of registration what we needed it for. After explaining what had happened I asked for a courtesy refund. Chris will NOT refund my money. Very unfair, emoral and shady business practice. I would NOT RECOMMEND this company. I highly recommend Lifesaver 101 walk in clinics for anyone who needs a thorough training or a refresher. I needed a First aid CPR refresher course for healthcare provider as part of my licensing requirement and our instructor Luis did an amazing job of going through all the information in a 3 hours course while keeping everyone entertained. Overall a great experience and they had the best dollar value I could find of all the CPR courses being offered with no pre registration necessary for the walk in clinics. read more
