This building dates from 1880. The church is Neo Gothic and is located at Broad and Geneva in downtown Lake Geneva and is a jewel box of beauty. The Stained Glass windows are incredible, including a Tiffany Window, and the 1883 Hook and Hastings Pipe Organ is worth the visit alone. The parish is a lively and welcoming group and the outreach of the church includes the Lake Geneva Food Pantry, Side by Side, and the Walworth County Food and Diaper Bank. During the summer, the church is the site (along with the Horticultural Hall next door) of the Lake Geneva Farmers Market. The church has a dedicated group of volunteers who sell locally produced brats (from the Lake Geneva Meat Market) and the profits go to local charities. The church is open on Farmers Market Day (Thursday), May until October, and folks can come in and hear the organ being played by Dr. Roy Clare, who is an amazing organist. Last summer (2023) over 3000 people came inside to see the beauty of this building. Service are every Sunday at 10:30 (Coffee hour starts at 9:30). You will not be sorry to come to hear the sermons by the Rev. Elizabeth Meade.

Probably unlike any church you have ever attended. And that's a good thing…read more The clean, attractive worship space is flooded with light and windows that bring the beauty of the natural environment almost inside. This is a church that does not have an answer for every question or a litany of dogma to which you must subscribe. Instead the minister and congregation collaborate to create and environment where each person can safely navigate their own personal spiritual journey with safety and support. Lessons are drawn from all of the world's great faith traditions, from science, literature, and personal experience. There is an affirming openness including a long tradition of being LBGT welcoming. Personal spiritual growth and community involvement are equally honored and there is a strong commitment to social justice. Rev, Sean Parker Dennison is personally warm and willing to share his unique life experiences along with genuine scholarship and a poet's touch in his sermons. The Choir, with more than twenty voices including stellar soloists under the direction of Thomas Steffens may be the best in McHenry County and performs music across styles, genres, and cultures. Services are at 10:45 followed by a social hour. Religious education classes Sept-May are concurrent with the services. Child care available for infants and toddlers.
