The worst customer service that I have ever experienced. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Have had issues with payments being sent to my provider. They never receive. I call and ask for copies to see if they have been cashed and get mixed answers. I spoke with. a David today 6 /11 and he hung up on me. I said I want to speak to supervisor and he said I going over his head. Dam straight I am. Can't even get to a supervisor. The company sucks big time. Deserves a zero but needed to select so it's 1. They question every single invoice submitted for payment. The invoice will say exactly what it was for and what doctor but we sitill need to provide proof. They will freeze your account because they do not know what they are doing and can't read. We can't wait to use up the account just so we don't have to deal with this company any longer. Been on hold over an hour today to get a doctor bill we already discussed with them 3 times prior and thought we sorted it out If I knew we could bring legal against them for the way they do business I would and this company is the worst we have ever dealt with. 0 stars if I could. Seems like every damn time we use it for anything we need to provide receipts. I've sent in receipts for the exact amounts and they are always denied. Too much time and effort goes into finding all of them and we spend too much time on the phone. Lady told me it's automatically generated but I say that's bullshit. Not sure why it's always a problem as they get our money from every paycheck. They can take but won't give out. Typical these days. I will be canceling their services and paying out of pocket going forward. I will be reporting them to consumer affairs. Company should close the doors as they suck at what they do. read more

Worst company ever. Continuously needing to provide receipts for the simplest of doctors visits, receipts required can include several doctors visits so trying to find the proper receipt payments that total that exact amount can be difficult. If you visit a provider near the end of the year, and aren't billed until the new year, you can't just use your card to pay the bill or you're reported to the IRS. You need to contact LBS by email or call in to to make repayment or else you're responsible for repayment with your own funds. Customer service representatives are less than friendly and less than caring. read more

1 is too high. I've been waiting 9 months for my card and it's yet to arrive. I've requested a new card at least once a month. Now that I'm ACTUALLY in contact with my rep, they said that it would be sent out April 4th and that I would get it in a weeks time. Now Ive been notified it was sent out on the 8th. Ive been having money deducted from my paycheck for NINE FUCKING MONTHS for a service I haven't even been able to use. An absolute joke of a company. read more

LBS "company" deserves complete Zero stars, but I had to pick one. I was, unfortunately, directed to them to register my already existing health plan with so called COBRA, after my employment ended, because I had the right to keep my health plan up to one year after the termination date. I was denied an option to deal directly with my employer and pay premiums directly to them. I had to use this stupid LBS joke! LBS provided me with zero help. Every time I was asking them a question: what is your actual role? Their representatives were openly telling me: "We just collect premiums". That's it! Which LITERALLY they meant: "We do nothing, we produce nothing, we came from nowhere, we just feed (like parasites) off your former employer and yourself; we take advantage of your disadvantaged situation". Collect money is the easiest thing in the world, anyone can do it. The most devastating here is the fact that there are probably some laws that allow those "companies" to appear and breed, and multiply, like real parasites, and make money from air, from complete nothing! This situation poses a red flag: the overall health care system here is so broken and sick in the head, that it allow this to happen! Below is what I wrote to this LBS "company" at the final review, when they asked what they could do better (but knowing how "good" they are, they probably won't even read my comments): "" Dear Lifetime Benefit Solutions, the best thing you can do is just disappear, and don't stand in the way!!! Your existence is useless. Believe me, if any employee has the right (written by law) to keep their employer's health plan for 12-18 months after their employment has ended, they do not need a "company" like you to stand in between! I could've just pay those same premiums directly to my former employer (UR), and just deal with them only, without having to deal with you, who took on a role of "mediator", and did absolutely nothing! Such a waste. People do not need some "company" like you to buy their health plan from their former employer and re-sell it to them! this is called PROFITEERING! Your failed even to provide a convenient payment method for premiums. For a credit card payment you wanted $20 for each transaction (on the top of a crazy high premium)!! Are you insane??? This is a robbery!!! I had to waste envelopes and stamps to send you my checks, rather than just paying conveniently via online portal. Although, I should admit - there is one thing you are good at - is harassing! You were the ones who had been sending me letters for the current covid regulations regarding payments, stating that I had a 30-DAY GRACE PERIOD every month to pay my premium, which is up to the 30th of a given month. Yet, when I was using my grace period, I was receiving harassing letters from your office stating that you were going to terminate my plan! I was responsible, and always kept in mind that I had to pay by the 30th of each month, and I did so. Your behavior was unacceptable! Lastly, even the name of your "company" is a sarcastic joke! Meaning that you found a Solution how to Benefit yourself for your own Lifetime, using people who came to be temporarily in a disadvantaged situation, and who struggle to have their ends meet. unfortunately, this company does not understand that people want their reimbursements in a timely fashion. It can take weeks for claims to be reimbursed. we are not talking about complex accounting here, I am a parent that would like to be reimbursed for my child's daycare cost waiting for weeks is just unacceptable. I received my HSA card, tried to use it, and got denied. Spoke with HR, and they told me I haven't signed the terms and conditions. I go to the paper I received, and nowhere on the paper does it specify that I have to sign the terms and conditions for the card to be active and valid. I go to the website and find out how to get into my account. Input the info, and the error is denied. They didn't put in my info correctly and now I have no way to access my account or use my HSA card. This is a joke of a health care plan. Do not by any means use this insurance company. read more

I work for a company that provides flex spending in their health package as an option. I decided to try it out for a year and only invested $500 in it for the year and found it more frustrating than useful. Not to mention you must use it or lose it before the year is over. For one thing i didnt use it til the last 2 months and i easily forgot to submit the required reciepts to receive the funds on your visa card given by LBS. If you use a portion of it and forget to submit receipts they will shut off the cards use. Yes you already paid for it but they cut you off anyway. Puzzling. If you pay with your own personal account and try to submit a claim it takes over 3 weeks before you get a refund. Bottom line is have an account at your bank separate from your main account and set money aside weekly to this acccount and you will have a flex spending account without having to submit receipts and the money is there for whatever you need and you will never lose it after the years end. I no longer use LBS for anything that has to do with money. read more

The customer service representatives who answer the phones are beyond incompetent and give out completely inaccurate information. This occurred on more than four separate occasions in my case and the only reason why I found out that I was being given incorrect information was because I contacted my HR Supervisor as well as a Supervisor at LBS. Additionally, this Company denies medically necessary treatment because they are cheap and are obviously trying to save a buck. They use the excuse of "standard medical protocol" as what your treatment should be, even though they have never even seen you. You don't have to go to Medical School to figure out that every one is not the same and "standard medical protocol" does not apply to every patient. Your Doctor see's you, spends time writing notes and sending information to this Company explaining your condition and the course of treatment he would like to give you and then LBS deny your treatment while sitting at a desk 3,000 miles away. Furthermore, it takes this Company almost two months to process claims because everything has to be reviewed by "Corporate Management Care", whom actually gets paid MORE than the Doctor's who are seeing and treating you. The Doctor's submit bills and this Company reduces them to 20%-50% of what is billed, yet Corporate Management Care submits a bill and their bill is paid in FULL with NO reductions. How does that work? Is it because Corporate Management Care is doing the dirty work for LBS by denying medically necessary treatment? Talk about a waste of money, which by the way, is billed to the patient's account! People with health issues don't need to have already proven medically necessary treatments denied (that the patient has been receiving for 16 years - and a prior insurance company did not question the treatment protocol nor have a problem paying the claims) because some lackey is trying to get a bonus. After the denial, the patient has to write appeal letters, etc. As if all of this additional stress is good for their health. Meanwhile during this appeal process, the patient is NOT receiving the medical treatment that they desperately need and LBS is standing there with their hand out collecting the insured's medical premiums each month. This company is a total joke. I have been trying for about a year to get them to correct my deductables for our health insurance plan to the correct amounts. They have the amounts incorrect 1750/ 3500 when they should be 750 individual 1500 family. I have called numerous times with my employer on a 3 way call and every time we get the same old song and dance- a supervisor is unavailable but will call shortly. Well guess what? Nobody calls or responds to e-mails. Needless to say my employer no longer uses their services. I'm at the point of calling the New York State Department of Insurance and Attorney Generals office. For a rating they deserve negative stars but it makes me pick at least one star. Stay away from these liars. read more

Lifetime Benefit Solutions provides miserable service as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) processor. They do not recognize the doctor bill along with the credit card payment receipt as a legitimate reason for the customer reimbursement. They can state that is an estimate and not the actual bill and deny to pay, even though, the bill and procedure dates are the same! Who pays a doctor co-payment for the estimate? Which doctor office print estimate for the job already done? Nevertheless, if they still doubt the job is done, they can easily verify it by contacting the doctor office. They don't! The reason for that - they like denials and reimbursement delays. They tries to hold customer money as long as possible for good and bad reasons! Another issue is LBS treat the transit and parking claims as the same. If you submit your transit claim and then parking claim for the same amount and date, your second claim will be denied. They say it is duplicated claim. It is very unprofessional! I used FSA for over decade and never saw such poor service. read more

The change to Lifetime for EBS-RMSCO has resulted in atrocious customer service and long phone delays. I get nothing but complaints about Lifetimes ineptitude from my providers. My personal experience with them only solidifies my provider's comments. I had to call 7 times to have my child's pediatrician added. I received several astronomical bills from the hospital due to denied claims by Lifetime for the birth. When I called to inquire about the bills, they told me that births (services for the child) are only covered at 80% (this is incorrect according to my plan documentation and my company's HR department). So, the representatives either can't read the plan or have the wrong plan in front of them when speaking to customers. It has been a four month battle with Lifetime and issues are still not resolved. This is the last thing someone needs to worry about after a birth. I have also requested plan ID cards for my child on 5 separate occasions, each time I have received new cards for myself. Lifetime tells me that my cards will work, however all of my other dependents have cards with their names on them and my spouse prefers that. If you are a company looking for 3rd party benefit management I strongly recommend that you look elsewhere unless you don't care about your employee's experience. When this company was EBS-RMSCO, I had no problems at all with the birth of my first child, although I am assured that nothing has changed but the name. read more
