He Also called the same day after the techs visit for a follow up call to make sure I was happy with the service! Clearance the technician was incredibly professional, and explained everything very clearly! His work space was neat and he was considerate of my home. He got the job done in a very timely manner and even helped to assist me in getting an additional quote for some doors! We purchased all of our new home lighting from the sales person June. Upon receipt there were two lights that had broken glass. One she took care of promptly. The other she was non-responsive about for quite a while before finally ordering a replacement. Then when we installed the rest we realized one of them wouldn't work. We knew we couldn't return it or get any money back or credit, but called her to discuss what options we had, such as, different bulbs, different glass, etc. Her response was that, since we installed it already, all she would suggest is for us to buy a new light from her. I didn't expect anything free or money back, I just wanted help and ideas on solutions that would save us from having to remove it and she had no interest in helping. I had a bad experience with this company. I was ordering a replacement light. The sales associate failed to tell me that the item when ordered would have a non refundable order return of $20.00 if the item did not fit. Sure enough the light they ordered did not fit. After I got home, I checked my sales receipt and it did not have that wording on my invoice. I was able to return my light but lost $20.00 and even though I argued with them about the sales rep not telling me this I still lost my $20.00. I was very angry! I will never use them again and I have told all my friends with existing houses and building houses not to use them. They are very expensive.. Funny thing is I found the exact same light a little smaller than what I wanted at Lowes, but it worked. Lowe's cost $16.99 and their cost was $60.00. Check around before you use them. read more

Clarence came out to repair our fireplace. An electronic module had failed and he diagnosed/ repaired it quickly. Given that the repair call is 1 hour min, he set about polishing the front, restocking the logs and generally cleaning it to use the time well. Very considerate and polite read more

Everything about my outdoor ceiling fan ordering went wrong. First, I went to the website. After checking the big box stores' websites, found this one more time consuming to navigate. It had 2-3 times the number of clicks and a confusing sliding scale, with too much unnecessary information when a simple number range for blade lengths could have sufficed. I decided to call the store directly. I thought this may be best because of supply chain issues on deliveries and I needed two outdoor ceiling fans for new deck project starting soon. That was a big disappointment. I went into someone's voicemail, a young lady, who never called me back. When I followed up the next afternoon, another young woman asked did I go to their website and proceeded to tell me what to click on to get to ceiling fans. I told her I had some questions but she insisted I just go to their website. I decided to go to another lighting store and so happy I did. Good pricing, good service at Metro Lighting! read more

Fantastic prices, selection and above all - service. We built a custom home and our builder originally had us speaking with two St. Louis-based companies for lighting and fireplaces. The other companies' prices were offensive compared to Light Brite, but more importantly, they could care less about whether we were a customer or not. We spent the better portion of a day at Light Brite's facility. First, we met with Kelly to pick out our lighting. LB had several of the same fixtures we had picked out at the STL-based company at a significant savings. Then we met with Derek to choose two gas fireplaces and mantels. LB custom built our mantels and stayed within our agreed upon budget. Once construction on our home started, Derek was happy to answer additional questions we had and make revisions to our design.
