She listened to me as I explained my goals. I wanted my office to reflect-well be an extension of my own personal style. She also remembered my favorite color was green. MarShall shopped FOR me so at the end of my workday all I needed to do was go pay for the items. She set everything up, and even brought in a couple of items she had at her home that really just made things look so good. I've done business with Lombardi's interiors in 2 previous homes and my current home ( 3 homes…read moretotal) a span of 17 years. My experience with my first 2 homes were OK. My recent experiences were not satisfactory, such that I would not recommend Lombardi Interiors. Bob Lombardi, the owner is very detailed and meticulous with selection and installation details. The selection and planning process was completed 4 months prior to the actual installation. Unfortunately Mr. Lombardi fails during the installation process on my current home renovation project consisting of master bath, guest bath, hardwoods and carpeting. Mr. Lombardi prefers new construction and commercial interior projects. Our renovation project was consistently delayed numerous times, which started out as a 2 month project and was finally completed in 6 months!!! The primary reason was Mr. Lombardi would place a higher priority on new and commercial projects and would delay our project. In addition, the pre finished hardwood installed did not match the existing hardwood floors, though the samples did. I suggested that Mr. Lombardi installed raw hardwood flooring and finish the staining on site. Mr.Lombardi stated that he does not raw hardwood flooring. After much discussions we agreed to install the new pre finished hardwoods in specific areas to minimize the color difference. The troubling issue was the pre finished hardwood installer informed me that he often installs raw hardwood flooring and stain to match existing for Mr. Lombardi ! When I mentioned this to Mr Lombardi he acted as if there must be some misunderstanding, how convenient. Lombardi's tile installers are master craftsmen and our very customer oriented. The carpet installers are just average. I recommend you shop around and get unwriting all details of the installation.
