She called me back the next day as promised and left me instruction on how to remove the "harp" to insert the bulb. It looked as though the harp was soldered into place but it turns out that little tabs on the sides could be lifted to squeeze the harp out of its place, screw in the light bulb and replace the harp and the lampshade. I guess I just have a good appreciation for old fashioned customer service - and Sherri provided that for me today. :)

So I went to find who else was out there and I'm glad I did. I called at 3:30pm and was startled to reach Mr. Jeff Dupuis immediately and directly. He gave me a quote that was substantially cheaper, and told me he could be at my house the next day. It only took him an hour to replace my fan (the competition said it would be at least 1.5 hours, and that was with TWO people.) He was quick, professional, affordable, and I can't praise him enough. The new fan works great, I'm glad I called him, and I recommend him wholeheartedly.

May 19, 2025 Above &Beyond Plumbing & Electrical did the…read morewiring on our new patio. After that past inspection, they installed outlets lighting, and two ceiling fans. One of the ceiling fans was wobbly. I called and asked if they could come out and check it because it should be under warranty as it's been less than two months. The lady on the phone was polite and professional scheduled me quickly for a couple of days later this week. They had an opening today the same day I called and were able to get someone out and take care of it. The electrician and his apprentice also polite and professional. My fan does not wobble. I don't hold the wobble against them because it could happen to anyone they owned up to it and took care of it. If we need an electrician again, Above and Beyond it the top of my list. Very happy with the service 100% recommend them.
