My brother recently discovered when he was remolding that the "Licensed Electrician" Dale illegally spliced the 3 wire into the old 2 wiring system by connecting the ground into the old Neutral wires not even using a junction box. This type of work is deplorable and put my brother in his family at risk to an electrical fire. Dodrill refused to correct. The wiring has since been replaced (not by Dodrill).

The service wire from NIPSCO that goes from the pole in the alley to my house was pulled out of the…read moreanchor at the house and was barely hanging on so the wire was drooping in my backyard to the point where I had to duck to walk underneath it. NIPSCO said that I needed an electrician to reattach the wire as it was not their responsibility to do such work. Enter Chris and Kurt - what a team! They work very well together and assessed my problem and gave me two estimates. They suggested to me that I go with option one and gave me a 1 year guarantee that if that didn't hold, they'd come back and provide option 2 and give me credit for what I already paid. They were very knowledgeable and friendly and answered all my questions. I'm very satisfied with the work they did and think their pricing was quite reasonable. I'm very glad to recommend them and kudos to the company for having these 2 guys working for them!

He found the problem, fixed the problem, checked several other components, cleaned up as he went along. He was very efficient, courteous, and knowledgable. After testing the unit, and checking incoming and outgoing temperatures, he asked if I had any other problems or questions. What more could you ask ? This work was still covered under the 10 year warranty I was given when I purchased this unit from Economy. ( 9-1/2 years later ) The first problem ever.

Duane and what I think is his son came out the next morning for me on very short notice. The service was efficient and professional ,however, as with all electricians was pricey. Service call was 65, and as a journeyman its 76/hr plus the apprentice is like 50 something, so figure about 130/hr with both of them there. If you have to call an electrician, these two guys are where it's at. Also, no credit cards accepted, cash or check only. I didn't know that before hand but Duane let me drop it off later that day to his shop in Crown Point.

I knew it wasn't going to be a quick and easy job. My primary concern was that the wiring wouldn't be visible, which would detract from my home's appearance. It was raining on the scheduled installation date, and I fully expected a call from Foster asking to reschedule. To my complete surprise, Nate and Joe showed up promptly on time, ready to tackle the task. The siding material on my house is thick, hard as a rock and pretty tough to drill through. It took a full day and a good part of the following morning. In the end, the job they did was BEAUTIFUL. Not a wire to be seen anywhere, and no mess left behind. Need electrical done? Later, another electrician correctly diagnosed the problem to be on the pole and nipsco came and fixed. Then, they never sent a bill. Made sense to me, probably embarrassed. Nope. I started getting nasty messages from the real sweet lady that handles the books. And finally a bill arrives w the threat of a lawsuit and a mechanics lien. Funny thing, they never checked but I rent the place. Anyway, I have a mid 700 credit score. I pay my bills on time. And will pay this one. But now I'm inspired to share my story and hopefully save anyone else from dealing with them.

I had a preconception of what I thought I wanted for a bathroom fixture. They have very nice displays. What was most helpful is their 20x40 inch monitor to show you thousands of fixtures. This large presentation is much better than seeing it on your personal devices or seeing fixtures one at a time. You can see at least nine on each page displayed. Scroll through the pages. You can filter on your criteria for any type of fixture. You can compare all the features and see the specs for each one. I was able to narrow my choice to a few, then noticed a feature that I really liked. This display station saved me time from further searching for a fixture, and narrowed down what I really wanted. I made a choice that I was likely to be very happy with. A great store to shop! PS. I also liked the display area for outdoor fixtures that were on walls made of outdoor siding. You can see how it would really look outdoors. A clever display.
