This place is gorgeous. I came out here to get some pictures and enjoy the scenery and bumped into this place. I had a slip at Lighthouse for 15 years for my sailboat. The day I was launching the sailboat for the 2024 season, I was spoke to the boatyard manager. He informed me that Lighthouse didn't want any sailboats! Sailboats buy little or no fuel and require far less repairs than a power boat. He told me I was "grandfathered in" but I was on borrowed time. I wasn't quite sure what to think. Over the 15 seasons, I had minimal contact with Lighthouse staff. On July 4th, Lighthouse called to inform me my mast fell over. I went up to assess the issue. The same boatyard manager showed me a broken clevis pin that secured one of the 3 stays. Extremely strange to say the least, the clevis pin is a stainless steel alloy, I never heard of a failed clevis pin, especially in a docked boat on a calm day. The fallen mast damaged the deck area. I was told Lighthouse does ZERO servicing of sailboats including fiberglass repairs. Powerboats are usually fiberglass but Lighthouse obviously really did not want any sailboat dealings. The boatyard manager told me he stored the mast in the service shop for me until I had the deck repaired at a nearby boat yard. The repair took about 4 weeks. The day I returned with the repaired sailboat, Lighthouse could not find the mast!!!! The boatyard manager was "away", No one knew it's whereabouts. After an hour of searching, a mast is rather large, it was found. The found mast was missing one of the 3 stays!!!! I asked what happened to the 3rd stay. Initially the staff told me that maybe the sailboat only had 2 stays........impossible. A minimum of 3 stays are required to stabilize a mast ( think 3 legs on a stool). Removing the stay would require wrenches, it couldn't just fall off, it was a deliberate removal. The staff immediately told me Lighthouse was NOT responsible......who was responsible??? Lighthouse told since it was my boat, it was MY problem. Lighthouse is beyond dishonest. The staff is aloof and rude. There are numerous horror stories with botched sales and service. Beware and do business with Lighthouse at your own risk!!!! read more

Absolutely the worst boat mechanics I have ever done business with. Quick short story, called beginning of July to schedule a boat repair on my outboard. Was told that they were swamped and I'd be looking at 2 weeks before I could bring it in. In 2 weeks I called and they said bring it in, hauled out boat and trailered it to their location. 2 weeks go buy and no call nothing. I called and they told me they would call me back. My problem was that after a half hour of the motor running it would begin to loose power and not go past 1800 rpm's. Finally got a call and they insisted fault was caused by a bad water pump. Sounded strange but service manager insisted they were Yamaha Certified outboard technicians.Did not ask price just told them "Fix It". 10 plus days go by nothing So I called. They said all work was done and everything checked out perfect. Sent my daughter to pay and pick up boat. 2 days later I launched boat and same thing happened again, Called and they said bring it back by water and they would check it out. 3 plus weeks go by no call nothing. Finally they called and said that the voltage regulator was swollen and was causing the issue. Again my answer was "Fix-It". By this time it was Labor Day weekend and nothing, so I called and left a message with service. 15 minutes later I get a text saying that they were sorry but they forgot to tell me that the boat was ready. Saturday morning I get there and they switched it around that the voltage regulator was bad and they found a bad rectifier and the spark plugs were no good either. If you own a boat then you know what BOAT stands for. Paid the bill and got on my boat, no gas of course so I filled it up. Took boat down the lake and same thing happening again. I was not happy, spoke with the owner of the marina and he assured me that he would personally make sure it would get repaired properly. Here we are now first week of October and still they were unable to repair the engine. They actually cut a huge hole in my engine cowl/ cover and had the nerve to tell me that that would make my engine run cooler. What a joke in any event I ran and picked up my boat and am going to take it somewhere else and have it properly repaired. I have retained an attorney, I want my old parts and they will be replacing my Yamaha engine cover. Please, Please do not take your boat there. Good luck and Happy Boating. read more

Staff: friendly, informative and helpful. Amenities: there are bathrooms there to use before ya head out for the voyage. Boat was clean and handled well. Very roomy for the 9 of us. The boat has storage under the seats so we put our packed lunch and shoes in there. We booked our reservation a week before with no problems. Would highly recommend this place to rent a pontoon boat. read more

We recently rented a pontoon premium pontoon boat with friends for a bachelor party for the first time. Annie welcomed us at the door as soon as we arrived. She pointed us in where rentals were. We were the greeted by Susan and Sam who taught us everything we had to know about the lake which was very thorough and charismatic. Afterward; we met with Erika who showed us all around the boat and gave us insight on where to go on the lake and made us feel right at home for our first rental. We came back to crew members all working together to assist all the boats at a timely manner. My friends and I had a great experience with lighthouse marina and will using them again next season! read more

Absolutely horrible experience renting jet ski. The owner Julie was rude, verbally abusive , lack of professionalism. Stay away from that place as they will rip you off money wise and abuse you mentally . We were lost and soon after thunderstorm rolled on . We were driving under lightening trying to find the marina and eventually we did all stressed out , the owner Julie was abusive and worried only about her jet ski and not our well being and safety. read more

My husband and I are locals. We previously purchased a boat from here. NEVER AGAIN......Rich in sales, is a liar stopped in last week and talked with Rich about a specific boat. He said they were crazy busy getting ready for Memorial Day weekend. It wouldn't be until after this weekend to test drive. I said no problem. I don't mind waiting as long as I am first to test drive. SOB sold the boat. If leaving a deposit secured my place in line to drive the boat Rich should have told me Instead of selling out from under me. Liar!!! read more

Me and a group of friends always book a cabin for the weekend and lighthouse is where we stay when we stay on Lake Texoma. Its beautiful and always friendly. Saturday we came back to no AC after being on the water all day. After my frustration with the maintenance guy never showing up or at least telling me that he couldnt get ahold of the AC guy when I called after hours, the manager went above and beyond for me and my friends Sunday morning to make up for all of us sleeping in our trucks. This place is a rip off. Purchased a new boat. Came to pick up the boat, sales crew was not ready. Took over an hour for them to come to us and finally drop the boat in the water. Once they dropped the boat, boat would not start. Pulled boat back in to realize the battery was completely drained since hey left it on. Replaced battery and dropped boat back in. Boat would not start right away but we didn't think anything of it. Drove it back to our dock. The promised full tank of gas but we got a little over 3/4. No big deal. Used boat 2-3 times for about 30 min each time and noticed trim indicator and speedometer were not working properly. Boat also stalled but once again, we thought nothing of it. Called the service department about trim and speedometer. Said they forgot to reset everything after new battery and told us to bring it in for service. Service day comes around and we get on the boat. Boat would not start. Played with it and it turned on. We pulled out of our docking slip and boat shuts off and would not turn on. We are now stranded in the middle of the lake. As luck would have it, we managed to pull into neighboring dock after an hour fight and after hitting other boats and docks. Get to marina and they promise they will take care of it. They come to look at the boat. Manager Mike states it seems like it's the fuel pump and said everything will be covered under warranty. They take the boat and promise to take care of everything and said they will call once ready. 2 days go by and they call to say hey found water in be tank. We never filled up since they gave it to us and only put 2.5 gallons in from a 5 gallon fuel can we our used from Exxon. We could not fit the other 2.5 in since the gas tank was in a uncomfortable position. We started worrying that the gas we purchased was bad but we filled gas can after filling up out car and car ran fine. Came to pick up he boat. They said they drained fuel and found 14 gallons of water...14 GALLONS OF WATER???? They said we had to have out that water in there. Mind you, we have 15 years of boat experience and never even touched the tank other than to put in the 2.5 gallons. We kept telling hem that boat was having issues since day 1. They said they took a vote at a meeting they had and decided it had to have been something we did and nothing they did. Gave us the boat without saying anything and sent us back feeling like idiots. Next day, bill comes in for over $600. They did not give invoice, hey never warned about a bill, they never told us to expect a bill, and they never explained what the bill was for. We signed nothing and we didn't get any invoice while picking up the boat. Terrible place to do business with. They are money hungry and have no care for people. Went to another marina to see if I can service the boat there. Told them about my horror story and they said that they have heard of others complaining about them before. Stay away. You have been warned. read more

This place is top notch! We rented a 10 passenger pontoon boat from them with our children and it was a blast. The boat was gorgeous, it was in great condition and even the life vests for the kids were clean and well cared for. The customer service was spectacular and their dock and parking were close by and we had easy access to the boat with our belongings. Wouldn't hesitate to rent with them again! read more

I recently rented a boat from here. I believe they view customers as the equivalent of ATMs. They relied on my lack of expertise to charge for a "damaged" propeller. They even tried to conceal their intent by withholding information until I started asking questions. I recommend to everyone stay away. read more

DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS AT ALL!!!! Brought my boat here for service due to an alarm going off which had to be plugged into a scanner for diagnostics. The service mngr (Mike), calls next day to inform me they found a sensor that has gone bad, and they will replace and test the boat in the lake to make sure it was fixed. Was a little unsure of letting someone else test my boat, but figured they were a full service marina and assumed they had plenty of experience and were capable of handling my boat.....So much for that!!! Picked up the boat from them to find a 2ft section of gelcoat busted away underneath clearly showing signs of impacting something causing this to happen while in their possession. Called the owner Eric, the next day and says he would forward concerns and pictures to the service mnger and call me back. I am still waiting for a phone call back from the owner (Eric) which I have called and emailed who has yet to call me back. The WORST EXPERIENCE I have EVER had with a business. This small task is costing myself over $3000 in fiberglass repairs. Don't waste your time with these CROOKS!!!! Go down the road to the next Marina where they are actually capable of doing there job and not cause damage to your vessel. Clearly they have no clue on what they are doing there!!!! read more
