His team was outside my house waiting for him when he arrived one minute early to start, and they finished painting my entire rowhome in 1.5 days. They were friendly, courteous and cleaned up very well after themselves (you want to steam mop after any contractors are in your house though). They also moved the larger furniture I couldn't myself and put it back again. Could I have tried to paint my myself and save some money? Sure. Was it worth the money to have it done by them, saving me days of exasperation (with an uncertain outcome)? Most definitely. I will add painting to the long list I have of "leaving it to the professionals" but will only call this particular professional for my next painting project (as well as refer him to my friends). He had been very highly recommended by friends so I felt very comfortable with using them. Azam gave me several colors to choose from and they turned out wonderful. More like the Home Nightmare. I hired them to re-caulk two showers and repair one kitchen cabinet…read moredrawer. They asked me not to use the showers 48 hours in advance, so I did. On the day of the appointment, I waited around until 5pm, when I called to confirm they were still coming. They didn't answer, but called me back about 30 min later to say that there was a mix-up and that they weren't coming. To their credit, they did come the next day, but the technician was very confused about what to caulk in my showers. We watched a youtube video together, then he caulked the showers. I was very nervous at this point, but trusted him. Of course, after waiting 24 more hours to use the showers (and now almost a week of showering at the gym), I find that the shower leaks!!! I contacted the company and they promised to look at it when the drawer technician comes out. Well, that appointment got rescheduled 2 times. I was getting pretty fed up and asked them to commit to a time. That's when Pete, the manager, tells me via email that they cannot ensure that a shower won't leak after they caulk it. At this point, I had no confidence in this company and asked for a refund for the one shower and to cancel the drawer repair. They refunded me $75 out $200 wished me luck disputing the remainder with my credit card company. A total waste of my time and honestly the worst customer service I've experienced in Philly (and that's saying a lot!).

My puppy chewed every single corner baseboard in our home. They looked awful and we wanted them…read morefixed. Thought we'd have to replace them all. Another contractor came in and made it look worse. Then called Home Hero. Very easy to get an estimate and schedule the services. Maurice came in and made them look beautiful again. He was on time, respectful, neat, and knew how to fix it. Great job. If I need repairs, I will use the Home Hero again.
