We stayed here for one night a couple of weeks ago. The minute we walked into our 3 bedroom condo we were blown away by how nice this place was. Seriously. It truly felt like we walked into a penthouse of a nice hotel. The price was great too. Kitchen was spacious with granite tabletops with plenty of counter space. There was a nice sized table in the dining room area and each two of the three rooms were nicely sized. It could've been two master bedrooms. Both had their own shower and bathroom. The third room had two twin beds that can you can put together if you wanted to. The living was also a decently sized area. The place was very clean and had fresh linens throughout the place. Another nice touch was that they provided two large complimentary Voss water bottles. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area. I will definitely be coming back. read more

I don't know if we just got lucky with our room but our stay was EXCELLENT!!! The pictures do not do this place justice! The condos are huge and very spacious with a high full kitchen with a bar. If you're visiting the Orlando area with kids this is the place I'd recommend to anyone to stay. 10 mins away from Disney and Universal. Will stay again!!! read more

Great place to stay. Loved the 3 bedroom unit. Really nicely decorated and spacious. We had 3 adults and 2 kids who stayed in total comfort. Two of the bedrooms are master suites with large bathrooms and soaking tubs. The living room, kitchen, and balcony are great for entertaining. We traveled with games and music and had a ball. The resort is small, but really nice. We loved the pool, the game room, and movie theater. Just buy some popcorn from the supermarket and enjoy. 5 Stars! read more

We booked the four bedroom. We were very pleased and impressed with the space in our unit. Everyone was able to rest comfortably. The one bedroom with the trundle beds were large enough for adults if needed. Also, ALL the beds were supremely comfortable!! We were not excited about the lack of attention by housekeeping. The resort requests that we wash and dry our own towels during the stay, which is okay, but there was only enough detergent for one load. We had 10 people in the unit and housekeeping only issued four washcloths. I called the front desk for more at check in and was told to use hand towels to wash with, because they ran out of washcloths. The pool isn't all that glamorous and it would be really nice if they could add a kiddie pool and splash pad. We enjoyed our time with family and it was reasonably priced. We would definitely return here with the family!!! (Side note: Food at the Steakhouse across the street was absolutely disgusting and an utter waste of money, even though the kids meals were free. ) read more

By far the most bag for your buck in Orlando. Why would you go spend $171 at the holiday inn express on international drive when you can come here and get 4 rooms and live like a king in bor-lando. I might check in, buy some property and never leave this magical family destination. However it's not 5 stars because 1 out of every 2 lightbulbs don't work, there no sheer in my grandmas window and it made her cranky and the fridge doesn't get colder than Barstow, Alaska in the summer time. However the maintenance guy had the hots for my aunt and came back every 15 minutes to make sure our lightbulb needs were satisfied. read more

In an area of Orlando that has so many beautiful condo resorts, this place really can't compete. They advertised a bar by the pool and a SPA but when we arrived both were not running indefinitely. No on site activities for children or adults. We called room service for toilet paper and it took over 24 hours to get to us, after we had to call again. The jets on our bathroom tub went rogue in the middle of the night and turned on when there was no water in the tub and wouldn't turn off. Very disappointed with the facilities and what they offered compared to what they were advertising. Summer bay resort just down the road and has much better facilities with enough activities for you to never have to leave the property. read more

The ONLY upsetting thing was that we couldn't get through to spa. We called them twice & they never got back to us, but it was ok because the resort made up for it. The resort was really nice. We had a three bed room condo. The rooms was clean, the staff was friendly. We had a great view of the lake. Very beautiful!! It was quite peaceful. The only con is that Saturday night our A.C stopped working and it got pretty hot that night. Pro is that the next day it was fixed and the resort fees was taken off. I stayed here over the Christmas Holiday with my family. We were in a 2 bedroom unit, with 3 adults and 2 kids ( 7 and 16 months). The room size is perfect. The room was clean, staff was friendly. They were able to accommodate an early check in and get the high chair and crib / pack and play to the room quick. The pool looked nice as well. I saw some people in it, it was pretty warm but not warm enough for me to jump in. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking to visit Disney but not stay on the resort. I can not comment on the shuttle service as we had a rental car, but I did see that it was available to the parks. I should mention, if you are staying less than 5 days I don't believe they provide room service. Generally for my family its not a huge deal, but if we would've stayed longer i'd of requested fresh sheets after 5 nights read more

We had an amazing experience here. The resort was close enough to Disney to not break the bank for uber rides and they were able to accommodate a large group of 10+ people. It was like we were staying in our own home it was so huge. With a large kitchen, we were able to have our own home-cooked meals in conjunction to local spots. The staff never waivered when it came to catering to our needs and everyone was so friendly. The pool was fantastic, there were game rooms and we were able to use the business center for those of us who had to do some work and also print boarding passes. I cannot recommend this place enough, it was spacious, clean, and most importantly the staff made us feel at home. Our expectations have been exceeded and when we visit again, we will for sure look into this place for our accommodation. read more

Beautiful spacious condos. We stayed in a 3 bedroom and it comfortably slept 4 adults and 3 children. The beds were plush and super comfortable. Pool was ultra fun especially with the poolside bar. Location is really close to Disney and we even got to see Epcot and Magic Kingdoms fireworks! That was exciting being a huge Disney fan. No complaints but felt rushed out when staff came knocking on our door at 9am. Check out is 11am. Overall, great experience and we will definitely be back! read more

Our experience was nice and the room was spacious, pretty and clean. The only issue we had was that out of the two mornings that we stayed there, we received early calls from the front desk BOTH days. One to remind us to check in "officially" since we arrived past 12. And the other to remind us that checkout was at 10. I understand it's nice they make the courtesy call, but they literally work us up earlier than necessary on our vacation to tell us exactly what we already knew and what they had already mentioned to us at checkin. read more

We stayed at Lighthouse Key Resort while visiting my family in Orlando. It was immaculately clean and had a well stocked kitchen if you want to cook your meals and not eat out. We found 2 Kosher restaurants not that far away ,both were very good. The A/C was fabulous! We like it cold and it really was cold! Bed was just right and the linens were above par quality. The bathrooms were very nice and the laundry room was perfect also! We had a very nice quiet room and felt very comfortable for one week. Parking was easy and the general area has everything you need as far as shopping, activities and dining . We would definitely return here and highly recommend it to others. Room Tip: We liked the first floor, we were actually facing the pool and never heard a word! I would have given 5 stars but the check in process was quite long! I don't know why it took so long but it did! She was very nice but maybe the clerk was just having a bad day! read more

I took care of the reservations and found this place online for my dad, and stayed here also with my sisters and a friend. From any webpages you can find on reviews and information about you, all is right. Everything we needed were on site. The front desk to the security at the gates are wonderful and the check-in and check-out process twice. They took care of reissuing a new room for us at 6-2001 LK-LK #405 for our extended stay due to Hurricane Irene going up north to New York City and the extending the car rental through All Star was wonderful and fabulous. The pool was great, only twice we used it and the deli...wonderful, food was ultimately the best. The rooms and Internet connection were great except when we moved to a new room, Internet connection weren't that good. Room Tip: Fifth Floor with the lake view, get to see the fireworks. read more

We stayed here for a Spring Break Disney trip this year. We were not harassed by time share sales people at all which was appreciated. We had a 2 bedroom unit that was very tastefully decorated with lots of space. It was a very livable condo that I would consider luxury. The pool was nice and having drinks available for purchase pool side helped to make it feel like a beach resort. The location is great for Animal Kingdom and even Magic Kingdom. It took about 20 minutes to get to Downtown Disney though. The resort is at the end of the developed strip on 192 and you have to make a U Turn across traffic every time you leave. Otherwise, no complaints. We would stay here again in a minute. read more

I hate when you c a place and think that's what ur gonna get when u get there, but this resort...well If you're looking at pix on their website, then that's exactly what you'll get once u walk in! It's the exact representation, pix of the lobby, pool, landscaping, etc!!! Got a Groupon for the hotel for a weekend stay at Disney. We were a six person group and we got a 3 Bedroom suite. It was amazing! Must cheaper then getting two smaller rooms at a hotel and definitely cheaper then a huge suite at Disney. We all fit comfortably and even the sofa bed wasn't too bad. There is a kitchen with pots and pans so we picked up eggs and bacon and made breakfast one day. The resort is well maintained and it has a beautiful pool. I would say the only downfall but was parking but it's such a good price it doesn't even matter. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the gate of Disney property so it's not too bad of a drive. Overall I would stay again and recommend it to anyone going up for a week or if they have a large party. read more

My family of 4 loves vacationing in Orlando. We are DVC members and usually stay on property at Disney, but we have stayed at Lighthouse Key a few times now. Its clean, spacious and beautiful!!! So quiet. We're always amazed at how much space we have. We love having our own kitchen so we can cook our own meals for the kids before we head out to the parks. At first sight, this place is wonderful. It's fairly big, extremely spacious rooms, and very clean ams pristine! They are condos for rent 10 minutes from Disney world and other attractions and restaurants. At night parking is limited. The elevator is always hot like a sauna. The room is well kept except for the broken DRYER they let us with. They fixed it while we spent our day at Epcot and came to clean/ straighten the room. It was all great but not vacuumed, and not sure if they actually changed our sheets or just refolded them. They only clean once per visit unless requested again. I would stay here again but feel those issues should be resolved!! read more

Booked here very last minute on a whim during holiday time (right before new years and thru new years) solely due to good reviews on trip advisor. I got anxious after booking it because the pool looked super small and I found a sister resort of theirs that had a water park, but this was uncancellable at that time. Also it was more than I wanted to spend ($259/night but it was a 2 bedroom condo with 2 bathrooms) and I think you can search for owner-done rentals and get a cheaper rate. But, the reservation wasn't changeable after that. I should note that I am used to staying in 4 and 5 star resorts. I think our room was 2702. They did let us check in an hour before our check in time, because the room was ready, and that was nice. The front desk people were friendly. The condo was clean when we checked in. Elevators were very slow, we were on the second floor. The carpets had some stains near the dining table and that was gross. There were fake flower arrangements and a few of them had chipped ceramic pots. The rooms could definitely use touching up in terms of paint and everything - it was showing its age and the decor looked like it was issued the same for every room and needed updating. The first bedroom was SUPER TINY and had glass block windows that didn't open, the windows were connected to the hallway and it was very noisy there. It freaked us out that the windows didn't open and that room was very stuffy. It had a twin size trundle bed. This room would NOT be good for adults. The other bedroom was further in and had a king size bed. The toilet closet for the master bedroom was creepy with horribly depressing lighting so we all avoided this toilet. The master shower (which we all ended up using for no particular reason except that it was a stall shower and easier to use vs. the other bathroom which had a bathtub shower) was just clean enough but had some mold buildup around the door which grossed me out. The water pressure was HORRIBLE and I called to see if they could come adjust the showerhead to make the water pressure stronger, but they never returned my call. The master bathroom also had a jacuzzi tub, which we were excited about. Well we used it just once, and after that there was no hot water for the 3 showers afterwards, so we all had freezing cold showers...not fun. The kitchen was well equipped and nice with granite counters and great storage space. The fridge and freezer were clean. The condo is well located with huge supermarkets nearby. The balcony had just enough room for a table and chairs and a side view of the fake pond. The washer and dryer were REALLY OLD but clean but made SO MUCH NOISE when using them, we couldn't believe it. The dryer would keep going and never stop until you stopped it, there was no automatic turnoff which was odd. It was cold for us at night and we asked for extra blankets, which they brought, but they were very thin cotton blankets which didn't do much of anything. The "resort" ended up booking up with more people, and it was impossible to find parking right near the building, we just had to walk a little more to get to our bldg, but that's not so fun at 9 pm at night when you have sleeping children to carry. There is a deli with some foods and they will deliver to your room and the guy was super friendly. We called and got a burger with onion rings - burger ok, onion rings gross, the grilled chicken wrap was inedible and we threw it out. We also got fried mushrooms and mozz sticks which were ok. When I finally visited the deli I was surprised at how sparse the offerings were and it was depressing in there - I bought some microwave popcorn, a beer and some gum. There were some dvds for rent but they were all pretty old. The deli people were very friendly. We didn't get to swim in the pool but there were some families enjoying it and it seemed fine. We were just too busy during the day and then tired when we got back to the room. There's another resort right before Lighthouse Key on the same side and it's the Holiday Inn Vacation Club or something like that. It looked really nice but the reviews sound like there's a lot of pressure to see the presentations, which is a huge turnoff. All in all, I guess I would return here if we were kind of desperate...the best thing is that there was a lot of space in the common area. But I'd like a place with a bigger pool, maybe a jacuzzi, and real room service. It felt like a sub par place to stay but was just good enough for us not to feel really yucky or trashy. read more

I stayed here for a few days with my family when we came to see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios. The word that I can use to most accurately describe this place is weird. When we drove up, it seemed like a nice classy place. However the woman behind the desk - Sabrina- was super rude and downright nasty regarding a small bit of confusion regarding our reservation through Jet Blue. She was impolite and really shouldn't be working a customer service job at all. The actual condo seemed nice at first glace, well furnished and decent. However, the bed linens ( comforters) were all scratchy and the towels in the bathroom gave off small particles that would stick to my body. There were tons of fake plants covered in dust - I can honestly just say that the vibe is weird at this place. Looks are downright deceiving; the staff are hostile and couldn't care less about making your stay a comfortable one. read more

LOVED IT. We stayed here for one night, but wished that it could have been more. We stayed in luxurious 3 bedroom condo. It was nice and spacious and felt like our own little apartment rather than a hotel. We loved the full kitchen and the screened in porch. The pool is heated and is very nice. The workout room faces the pool and has a lot of nice equipment. They also have their own theater that they show 3 movies a day. We were the only people to utilize the theater, so they allowed us to choose the movie from a list they had and then offered to make us popcorn after they set it up. It was a beautiful hotel and the staff was incredible! I hope to come back again! read more

My family LOVES Lighthouse Key! We frequent the area because we have season passes to Disney. It is literally minutes from the park. It is so easy to go to the park, come back for lunch in the full kitchen it the condo, tap naps, go back in the evening and come back for a home cooked dinner. Big money saver too! The boys love the resort so much that sometimes they don't even want to go back to the park! The condos are always clean and comfortable and the staff have always been pleasant. We highly recommend Lighthouse Key to our friends and family. read more

Beautiful resort at a reasonable cost close to Disney. But if you plan to use the pool, don't go. They have a pub with varied hours with no consistency. They will not allow you to drink ANY beverage or have food on their pool deck even if the pub is not open. This means if you want to enjoy a coffee and breakfast on the pool deck while the kids swim - you can't do it. Or have your child bring their sippy cup. Of course, after a long day a Disney - don't expect the pub to be open to enjoy that adult beverage and food while the kids swim. We arrived at the pool at 7:15 pm. on a Friday night. The pub closed at 7:00 pm. We then brought our own drinks and ordered food for the kids. With the food came, we couldn't bring the food out to the deck. Security was called when we tried to bring the food out for our children. The managers said they had to follow the General Manager's policy. Communicated with GM via email and he said it was a liquor license issue. I personally have a hard time believing non-alcoholic beverages or food is against a liquor license when the pub is not open. We have been to many other places in the Orlando area and never experienced issues like this. Choose something else if staying in the Orlando area. There are many other options to choose from with a better experience. read more
