Yes! These people are stellar! I live in Naples and went to the Naples location first where I encountered the worst service imaginable. Service. A friend recommended to go to the Bonita Springs location and I could not be happier! Everyone I had contact with is a professional, truly interested in finding the best solution for their customers and super nice! They installed a couple of fans and I went back for outdoor lights ! Anna also helped me find & replace a hard to find light fixture that I love but is no longer being made. We will from now on only go to there with all lighting and fan needs. read more

Please! Before you purchase anything from this company you go to a big box store to compare quality and price. First Lighting of Bonita Springs products are equal in quality to big box products and their prices are three times higher. The saleswoman I purchased two outdoor ceilings fans from reported to me that the fans I was buying were of the best quality and were made specifically for outdoors. Thirteen months later when the fans were rusting and I contacted her for assistance she was told first the rust was due to Hurricane Ian and second my twelve month warranty was up. I paid over $700 for two very simple lanai ceiling fans and was willing to pay a high price from a business that I believed to sale quality products and would stand behind what they sold. No and no. First Lighting of Bonita Springs should be ashamed of their products and services. Unfortunately, they are not. If it is important for you to buy from an over priced specialty store do not chose Lighting First of Bonita Springs. Reviews are the only option to protect others from poor quality and poor service. I have been to a few other lighting stores in town but have been less than impressed. Lighting First has a superior selection of light fixtures, fans, and even home accessories. The staff is knowledgable, attentive, and amiable. They offer lighting design consultaion as well as installation. I was impressed by their installation warranty as well as the fact that so much product is in stock! Things are only getting worse. After waiting months to get yet another fixture replaced, we were notified that they were going to be replacing all the lights. We were told that back in November. Today, they FINALLY got around to replacing the fixtures. After the installation, we found some issues that we found quite disturbing: 1. We originally had 7 under-cabinet fixtures installed. What we found after looking at it after the installer left was that we only received 5 replacement fixtures. They took the liberty of changing up the design without letting us know. We were told there were 7 fixtures but we found that they only installed 5. By reducing the number of fixtures they have created dark areas in the lighting that weren't there before. 2. The temperature of the fixtures is not the same among all the fixtures. Three of the fixtures are one a cool white while the other two are a warmer white. The differences is enough that you notice it. 3. This is the worst. We found that the installer did not use the correct length screws. On multiple fixtures, he used too long of screws and they went completely through the bottom of the cabinet. What's so bad about this is that we have custom ordered cabinets and there's no way to repair the damage that they have done. A professional installer would know just what length of screws would be needed. We have been dealing with this issue for about 2 years now. Just when we think things are going to get resolved, some other issue comes up. Sadly, things just don't seem to get better. After dealing with all the communication and installation issues, I'm surprised they they are still in business. I'm putting their rating back to 1 star. Looks like the owner is going to be dealing with an (rightfully so) upset wife come tomorrow. This is her dream kitchen and this company is making it worse. read more

Excellent selection and customer service. We have bought a few things from this store and it is always so much fun to get ideas at their show room. We ended up having a little issue with one of our fixtures at the very end of our warranty period. Meghan was exceptional at resolving the issue for us and getting everything fixed. I've never been in there physical location but we have had their technicians come out to our home a number of times to install lights, fans, etc. My husband has also been to the store and spoke with the salespeople over the phone. We would definitely recommend using this company. They are much better than Lee Lighting in Fort Myers and some of the other companies. We purchased 4 remote control ceiling fans at the Fort Myers location. We installed ourselves and discovered we had signal interference from our neighboring condo . If there was anyway to take back our order I would but after dealing with them for TWO years we have been giving them the benefit of trying to fix the problem. This time we had 7 under Cabinet lights that were never the same so they finally came back today (after ordering them in November) with 7 but only replaced with 5 because the wrong sizes were ordered! But that's not all folks Doug installed them and doing so I have huge gaps in light and he put large screws THROUGH the bottoms of my cabinets RIGHT INTO ITEMS IN the cabinets!!! Now I have the points of the screws, YES, that I can see and feel because they are SHARP!!! And the frosting on the top of this cake is that AGAIN the lights are a different color! OK Lighting First, I would love to know how your going to fix it this time! No owner or manager has ever come to our home to see the completed job or the mistakes that have been made. If I could give 0 stars I would. The sales associate that helped us suggested that we get the chandelier in the larger size so we took her "expert" advise and went with the larger size. The piece was WAY too large for the size table and space she suggested it for. When we went back to the store she told us there was nothing they could do because it had already been installed. She spoke to her manager and he said we would have to keep the piece that was installed and he could offer us 25% off a new piece even though their website says "a generous 30-day return policy, each facet of our business is fine tuned to support our goal in creating an outstanding shopping experience." Apparently they do not stand behind this "30-day return policy" and the customer service was atrocious. The manager really should have been the one to talk to us, but he didn't. We were willing to go from a $600 chandelier to a $1300 chandelier. We will not be returning to any of their stores and will NOT be recommending them to anyone. Disgusting.
