Started offering this service in 2011 as a service to Mathes Electric's customers, who they send to us for repairs of their lamps and chandeliers. Currently, over 60 antique businesses refer their lamp and chandelier repairs to us. If you purchased a lamp at an estate sale or auction, you most likely found that for liability reasons, they cut the cords. We can replace the cords, which are often dated or do not meet URL standards for wiring. If you have a pet that has chewed through the cord, we can replace it. Should you experience a fire, like one of our customers did, in which she had damage to over 30 of her lamps, we can evaluate them for recovery, and provide a technical report for your insurance, so the repair expense can be reimbursed to you. We charge flat rates for lamps and chandeliers plus parts & shipping. Simple, affordable, quality workmanship and parts.

I began a niche business in 2011, repairing and rewiring table lamps, floor lamps, sconces, pendant lights, and chandeliers. As a skilled craftsman, I enjoy working with my hands and solving problems. I also enjoy creating custom lamps out of objects provided by my customers. I charge a flat rate + parts/shipping. Most lamps average around $65.00 for parts and labor. Custom lamps require an estimate. We do not charge for estimates and generally, you only pay once the repairs are completed. At this time, we accept checks and cash, and Venmo (transaction fees added).
