(Though it really would be nice to see and hear a lot less of that in a family atmosphere) Their most recent issue though is with Driftwood's claim to be a place for birthday parties. In the past they've brought their own cake and the staff has provided them with cups and some plastic eating utensils and they eat cake out of the cups. Pretty awesome. On their most recent birthday party visit, one member of the group went up to request a half dozen cups and plastic forks and was told something snarky about outside food and charged $25 for the aforementioned cups and forks. I get that those things aren't free, but to charge that much for what maybe amounts to $3 worth of foam and plastic is outrageous. They've spent a lot of money here just this year alone, rented several hours on the lanes, heavily frequented the arcade, and always clean up any mess they make, shy of a sanitary table wipe. This is a group of housekeepers. These girls work hard, sometimes in terrible conditions, cleaning up horrific messes left by guests, so they know how to clean and be respectful of their surroundings. Needless to say they weren't very happy. I'm posting this on their behalf because I was there to witness it, and it hurt my feelings to see them so upset. As they were leaving I overheard talk of possibly seeking out a new venue that would be happy to have them and host their future birthday parties.

Because of customers, like yourself, he has a 'first come, first serve' policy. There are only 8 bowling lanes, so when you entered his establishment after all 8 lanes were full, he was being courteous to let you know that you will need to wait until a lane becomes available. Since there were more than 5 in your party, he wanted to be sure to put your party on a pair of lanes that were next to each other. Other customers were waiting as well. That is why the 2 pool tables were being used. The owner does not condone name calling, that is just childish. He will, however, tell someone how they are acting. He told me that when he asked for all adults in your party to come together so that the 3 buckets of beer could be discussed, you became rude, loud, and refused to cooperate. He told me that you stopped the full payment on your credit card that included your bowling, food, and drinks. He told me that he went ahead and corrected your tab. He replaced the charges of the buckets of beer with fountain sodas. So, your bill has been corrected. Now, he wants to know when are you going to pay your current balance? He says that you still owe him a balance of over $100??
