In the past 2+ years I've had to use this business for service on my 2009 Kawasaki Mule 610 4x4 around 3-4 times.... I've always found the Service/Parts department to be extremely helpful as well as forthright with expected wait times for service and repairs...They've always done a great job for me and charged what I considered a reasonable price... I think they are the only dealer in Gonzales for Kawasaki and Suzuki and that has an affect on wait times when it comes to service and repairs but otherwise you got to haul your machine into Baton Rouge... For the most part any wait time the staff drops on me I deal with because I've never been pressed for needing to use my UTV when I've needed service on it... I'll continue to use them in the future read more

They will sell you a 2022 20k bike all day long. But when it messes up 2 weeks after you get it, take it to them to fix it, have you confused with someone elses bike the whole time, do the first service for it and "fix it" the ticket has no warranty claim/part on what they were suppose to "fix" but said it was covered under warranty. Get 20 miles down the road only for it to be doing the same thing it was when we brought it in. Called up there right then, they didn't even know who we were. And informed us someone would call us today about the bike. Still haven't received a call. Will be calling Suzuki to handle it, and get it serviced elsewhere. Can say that the sell went smoothly tho, but after that it was all down hill. Have heard "we will call you back" multiple times only to not be called. We live 2 hours away, so we can't just swing by, it's taking off work, having whoever is driving me or picking me up take off work, gas money, and not even getting it fixed! Will find other options before going back. Lightspeed motorsports has zero communication within the customer vendor relations. I dropped my bike off on a Saturday April 9th for a new rear tire. Was told that they were behind and would get to it as soon as they could. I understand that and told them that I would not be able to pick it back up until Saturday April 16th anyway. First missed communication. They were not open Saturday. I had zero calls mon-thur regarding the status of my bike. I finally reached out to them Thursday April 14th and was told that it was done and the total. Then immediately told to hold on to make sure it was in fact done so as not to waste a trip. Upon returning to the call, they then inform me that my bike was "running hot." Confused because my bike had never been over 180ish degrees, I asked what was going on. I was told they did not know they had moved it about 30-50 feet and the tech had noticed some excessive heat and his heat gun on the radiator read almost 300 degrees. They said they would investigate and call back. Second missed communication. They never called me back. Friday April 15 rolls around and from 9am-5pm no communication and let us just say I was unhappy. I go to lightspeed to find out the status of my bike and I'm told they called me. I assure you no communication was done. And the service tech was arguing with me about this. And kept repeating that he had called. He then informed me that my bike was not overheating and got my bike. My bike while not clean when it arrived, I was not prepared for grease and handprints all over my bike. Though this is not that big of a deal, at the time it was to me. He then walked away without saying anything. I have never been treated with such blatant disrespect and will not be returning. read more

Called this place to get my tire changed and the lady who answered told me, "Im sorry sir, if you bought the tire online we cant put it on your rim." I think the pretense for this was that they did not want to be responsible? All other establishments print right on my receipt, 'customer provided tire'. Certainly wont be stopping by this place, ever. read more

Lightspeed didn't appear to be too interested in my business... The person who answered the phone was very "casual" about helping. I was told I could bring my bike in but it would be at least two and a half weeks before they could look at it. So, I asked if I could make an appointment... no dice. I'll try some one else. read more
